Fabulous food and great choices. Watched chef Shaun do his thing in the kitchen and even though he was busy, he had time to have a photo taken. Very friendly wait staff too!

We’ve been here 3 times now and will continue to come back! We had gone to the flying chestnut for their family day seating and had an incredible experience with both the food and the service. We live in Mississauga and, with almost a 2 hour drive, it’s still always worth it to make the trek! Shawn and his wife are so warm and welcoming. I can’t wait for our next visit!

We were staying in Eugenia over the holidays and booked a reservation here as we had enjoyed some of Shawn's food in Toronto when he was serving up brunch in Kensington Market. Having enjoyed his food before we had high expectations. Well this meal definitely did not disappoint! The portions were generous and every bite was packed with flavour. I had the red snapper while my husband had the duck confit. The sides served with our meal were amazing and we were surpirsed to get a few little starter bites before our meal for free which were a welcome sight as we were very hungry. Our server was friendly and the atmosphere felt cozy and homey. We really appreciated the art displayed in the space including the coloured glass chandeliers! If we ever are up in this area again we will defintiely make the time to visit again!**note they are cash only and their hours are posted on their Instagram.

Came here for a Pow Wow Cafe pop up and bought my mother so she could try a fry bread taco. The beef brisket tacos were excellent as was the strawberry drink. We ate in the outdoor pavilion and it was a beautiful location. The place was busy and it was nice to see so many people enjoying themselves. The owners are always extremely friendly, whether here at the restaurant or in Toronto where I usually see them at a festival or at the recently closed Pow Wow cafe. Came here in Canada Day and supporting a local Indigenous business was a wonderful way to spend the day.

The atmosphere is unique and cozy. Very friendly and personable staff that clearly care about their guests. Food is crafted with care and even though the menu is small, you know you are eating something made with love. Will be back! Thank you!

If I could give 10 out of 5 stars I would. Incredibly wonderful food that’s beautifully presented. Great service, great coffee etc. Don’t let the exterior discourage you, it’s fabulous.

Beautiful, warm and inventive, this restaurant will have you going back again and again. Not just for their ever-changing menu, but the experience of dining there. If it’s not clear, I love it very much and you should go.

One of the best restaurants in Grey Bruce hands down, service is exceptional and the food is gourmet and delicious. I have been here multiple times over the years and every time is such a pleasure. The vibe is cozy and music is great as well!Shawn is a master as his craft and I’d recommend the flying chestnut to anyone in a heartbeat. Wonderful evening!10/10!!Cheers
