We purchased coffee and croissants and were sitting on the (empty) patio. In addition to the purchased items, I snacked on some leftover food I had in my car. First, there was a quick dirty look from the owner (old lady with glasses) as she walked past our table. Then, when I went inside to grab a couple napkins for my kids, she rudely asked me “what, they didn’t give you any napkins with your other takeaway food order?” (It wasn’t a takeaway order), implying that because I had some other food at the table we were no longer welcome to eat there, despite buying the majority of our food from there.
Lady, we are your customers. I didn’t ask for a side of rudeness with my stale baked goods and mediocre coffee. Won’t be back.

A great place to sit down for an afternoon drink and chat. They have a nice drink selection, both with and without alcohol. Oh and of course coffee for those that need a caffeine fix.

Pleasant looking place by the staff is anything but pleasant. If you go, each member in your group better order something if you want to occupy their space. If any one of your group members don't order and sit down, get ready for unfriendly eye contact and rude gestures made toward you the entire time you are there.

Unfortunately our experience was truly disappointing. 3 of us in our group of 5 ordered drinks 15 minutes before closing time and sat down.
The cashier was extremely disrespectful and passive-aggressive, especially towards a couple of my friends (both of whom ordered). What made the situation even more uncomfortable was she spent the entire 15 minutes glaring at us, making us feel unwelcome.
When I addressed her behaviour before leaving, she doubled down. Her main issue was that everyone in the group didn't order something so we shouldn't have a right to sit. What's upsetting is that if she kindly explained this expectation to us, we would have happily complied but her tone, attitude, and choice of words were very off-putting. I hope she can reflect and take away that kindness is free.
It's a shame because we met some lovely and kind people in this small town of Flesherton, but this interaction left us with a bad taste in our mouths. I would not recommend this cafe to anyone, especially if you're expecting to be treated with respect.

Ordered an iced latte - didn’t expect to have to pay $1 for ice nor was I notified it would be an extra charge for the ice. Didn’t appreciate being blindsided by that. Only realized the charge when the receipt was printed.
It’s a quaint and quirky cafe off a main road with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
