We only have 1 other place in this town that serves breakfast so I went into Java and scoops one day to try out the breakfast and was very disappointed. The young girl asked me how I wanted my eggs so I told her over easy. When I paid and left I took it home.Bacon was half Raw half burnt and even the homefries weren't fully cooked thru. I dont know why she even bothered to ask me how I wanted my eggs cooked when she ended up cooking them a totally different way. I wanted over easy and instead got my yolks broken and just a fried egg. I won't be going back it was very disappointing. I do not recommend eating there a total waste of money.

My sister and I had lunch at Java and Scoops today. We had a devious grilled chicken wrap!! It was rolled perfectly and had lots of chicken , bacon and cheese in it and the price was very fair!!

Pat, the owner is wonderful! She accommodated us by making our breakfast sandwiches to our preferences. They tasted amazing and coffee was perfect. She also has a great selection of baked treats and ice cream choices looked sooo good! We will definitely come back to Java and Scoops when we pass through Forest again!!

The new Owner has amazing customer service and is so driven to make Java and Scoops a great staple in our community. I ordered a rushed ice cream cake, and she made it happen. All customized to our liking. It was a huge hit with everyone, the price point was very reasonable and was such a fun twist on an ice cream cake. Also when I was there she was making some delicious looking wraps and sandwich’s for in house customers and they looked absolutely delicious!

Kid-friendliness: The staff were accommodating when I came in with my kiddos. They were patient while we looked through all of the ice cream flavors and spoke directly to the kids, which I appreciated.

We met up here with family for a quick visit. We we thrilled to be able to get ice cream and coffee so early in the day. The owner was wonderful and friendly, and the food and drinks were delicious.
We had the Dorito taco salad and BLT Club, they were both so good and filling. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic Food. Delicious. Friendly staff. So kind and had a great conversation with the family owned business. My boyfriend and I both had the Turkey and Mozzarella sandwich on sour dough bread accompanied with an iced latte and a macchiato. Absolutely super. I recommend this place to everyone. Kid friendly, cozy atmosphere, clean and exceptionally kind staff. We will visit again and again and again. Thank you.
