Service staff are untrained. Management argued with our party of 6. He used foul language with children at the next table. Terrible people to deal with!! He told us he was short staffed like it was our fault for being there.

Food is delicious. Service is amazing. The building is very historical and you've got to see the inside and the courtyard.

Great atmosphere, great service, horrible food. Noodles were rubbery, gloppy, chicken tough and chewy. Vegetables hard and tasteless. We have 25.00 coupon to go back; we won't be back

We went there for our 26th anniversary. Only ones in restaurant. Had chicken parm which was burnt. Waitress said all chicken was frozen.
We had 2 wag jag dinner for 4 $200 plus you would receive 2 $25 gift cards(not received). 2 lobster fettuccini Alfredo - lobster very dry - terrible. Fettuccini was good. Shrimp fettuccini Alfredo was good Veal Parmesan with penne - pasta was less than al dente - veal was basic. 4 glasses of wine were a nice Chardonnay Dessert was 2 to share different cheesecakes - apple was dry. Dulce de leche was good Price is irrelevant when food is not appetizing. We had an 8 yr old child with us & ordered kids penne in a meat sauce & 2 ice teas - $39.00 Their menu looks very nice it's unfortunate that our choice was limited to bruschetta appetizer & 5 mains & cheesecake.
Had a Wagjag Voucher - went to the Fort Erie location very quiet no one in the restaurant except the 2 guys at the bar. Couldn't sit in the section were reserved for as there were too many flies. 2 of the wines we orders from the menu were not available. The bruschetta was just ok. The fettuccine was lacking flavour and the lobster tail was over cooked. My partners chicken parm was decent but the potatoes were still hard and the vegetables' were blah, no taste. Cheesecake for dessert - again just ok. We still have a $25 gift certificate to use.....but pretty sure we will fogo using it. Definitely won't be back.
Our dinner was quite bad. We ordered seafood risotto. The food was horrible. The waitress warned us there were a few flies in the restaurant. But didn't tell us they were blow flies. The muscles tasted chemical tasting and the risotto was a glob. Do not go here. They do not have decent food or decent wine.
The calamari is, possibly, the best I've ever had. A light, flavourful ... I'm not going to call it a crust because it is much more delicate than that. It's not a breading either. But there is a little something on the outside of the calamari that makes it delicious. The aioli is lovely as well. Chicken schnitzel had a little too much oil on the plate, but the seasoning was spot on and every taste fantastic.
My first ever 1⭐ review. Oggie's Bistro in Erie Niagara is a culinary catastrophe wrapped in nostalgic charm. The decor, reminiscent of an old bank, offers a quaint ambiance, but that’s where the positives end. The dishes we had, disaster! ? The chicken pasta, a sad pile of overcooked noodles and rubber like chicken pieces like they had been through a processing plant. ? Bruschetta, unforgivably subpar toasted bread ?! Prices are absurd for the basic rail drinks, and the specials board was a joke—no prices listed! ? The speed at which the food arrived screamed “microwave,” not “chef.” There's zero passion here, just a pathetic attempt at cooking. If you can't respect the ingredients or the craft, don't bother. The food here is an insult to the palate—it's like serving a Michelin-starred meal in a landfill! Just plain awful!
? Avoid it like the plague!

We had a wag jag deal, which was good value. This deal included a $25. Gift card, which we did not receive. Our server said she forgot it, and left to go get it. Despite us waiting, and her returning to serve other customers we still did not receive it. After waiting a while, we left without it. We ordered two regular coffees with our dessert. Cost us $11 + .....
First visit to fort erie location. Food was ok nothing special which was disappointing. No specials offered. Service was just ok. It felt like we were directing the experience, not the server. Much like any average eating experience but without the high price tag. It was a slow night. Not very many people at all. We ordered glass of house red wine which ended up being $22 per glass! The music changed to loud rock at some point which we asked to adjust the volume. In all, it was not bad just not great. Servers are the stewards of the business that sell and promote or just take your order. In this case there is much room for improvement.

Attended a party of 21 in the Back Room on a Friday Night. Only 2 other tables filled in alley. Service was poor. Waited over an hour for drinks. Food was cold and in some cases uneatable. Pizza was delivered with crust still doughy, Chicken Parmigiana was tough and chewy. Fetticcine dry .It appears the Kitchen and Staff can not handle large crowds. They lost a number of local returning customers that night.

Really nice atmosphere but the experience ruined it.
We went with a group of about twenty, for a birthday party so the back room was reserved. It was 60 minutes past the reservation time before we were served our first drink! I've never seen anything so disorganized. We needed to request for someone to take our drink order.
When the food arrived, it looked good. We had a limited menu because of the larger party (no problem). Probably 10 of us ordered chicken Parm and no one wanted to say anything but it was so over cooked, our steak knives struggled to cut through the chicken. As we waited for the bills, which never came, people started whispering about how tough the chicken was. By the time it was time to leave, everyone was agreeing about how horrible their food was. ("But the cheese was good" some people said)
The waitress did ask everyone individually how the food was and it was made clear that everyone was unhappy with the quality of the food and disorganized process.
Couples and families needed to go to the front and lineup to pay their bills. A bit of a disorganized mess sorting out who receives what bill, and they still got it wrong. Thank gawd it wasn't busy or the lineup of people through the restaurant would've disrupted the other guests (thankfully there were only two).
This may be my first one star review. Unfortunately, I hope this restaurant figures out their kinks. It's my first and last time here.

This is not the old Bank quality of food! Very disappointing. We both ordered the veal Parm my husband had the pasta the sauce tasted like it was canned. The veal Was extremely thin and dry. I had the veggies which were cold and so undercooked I couldn’t eat them. Wine was very expensive as well. Overall a terrible experience. The server was nice
