I have loved going here for years. Small town vibe with great food. Can be very busy and a little slow but with its lovely atmosphere that has never been an issue. Check it out before they close up in a couple of weeks.

3 Strikes for breakfast. The last 3 times we have been there after waiting patiently for over 20 min to have our order taken new people came in and were served before us . I think because the server knew them. The food is good but the service is terrible. Will not be back and will never recommend as a place to go, due to the service.

I ordered breakfast and Lisa started singing my bread and meat options back to me out of the blue. So I sang back. It was wonderful. Awesome! One of the regulars at the counter started chatting with us about past cities- Thunder Bay. It was cool! Lisa is a bright light. Tammy and her daughter are excellent cooks and ultimate masters of work ethic! We love this place!! I felt like I wanted to come back the next day! This is what going out for a bite is all about. Never change a thing!!

Visiting from Buffalo, this place is literally in the middle of nowhere but what a surprise... Clean, quick, friendly staff and the food was great! Didn't even have to ask for refills and the price is right. Me and my family will be back!

This is our go to breakfast place . Customer service is amazing. The waitresses always takes time to chat a bit . Makes you feel good when going to this diner . The portions are well worth the money

My recommendation would be for the business to implement a means to track the order in which they service tables.I totally understand that it gets busy/steady, but several folks seated after us were promptly tended to while our party of 3 continued to wait. We received our drink order and more than 25 mins passed before someone approached to take our food order (we didn’t start watching the time until we realized the server was at a newly seated table taking a food order while we just sat there with our empty coffee cups and menus for what felt like forever). Actually some of those same customers had time to order, eat, pay and leave before our food even arrived, which took an additional 40 mins.Coffee refills were not often. Food was ok, I guess. The over easy eggs were a tad overcooked and the hash browns contained onions (not mentioned on the menu) but we just ate around them. The bacon was great though.Wish I could say we were a one off but we observed a nearby table discussing whether to put money on the table to cover the cost of their coffee and leave to go elsewhere but the hostess literally showed up to take their order just as they pulled their wallets out.Service can make or break the experience, and based on today, unfortunately, I am left with no desire to return anytime soon.

4 stars, would be 5. Breakfast is great. Great staff, timely service.Not a negative review, but I did want to share a helpful comment. They seem really friendly with the local customers but for some reason not too friendly with anyone of colour, you just get a weird vibe like they don't care to make the same effort you clearly see them making with some other ethnic groups. They don't bother to even make simple conversation with you but with others you can see they difference in effort. I get the fact that most customers are local and elderly and just so happen to be mostly white, but I would ask the staff to try to make everyone feel the same. Anyways just an observation, hopefully they can maybe be a bit more welcoming and friendly with people of different backgrounds.
