Never have I ever had an experience at a restaurant like i had today... Walked in at 2:15pm with my partner and 2 young children hoping to have a nice lunch. I eat here often and enjoy the food, and usually they have good service...Today, a waitress was cleaning tables close to where we sat, she was quite literally huffing and puffing as she passed by our table multiple times, clearly unhappy... After 5 minutes of us being seated she came over to us and said with A HUGE ATTITUDE that they decided that they wanted to do their last call early today because they had a busy afternoon. I asked "does that mean you're not going to serve us?" And she said yes.. Not apologetic whatsoever, she was quite rude about it when telling us. She was very smug about it and almost seemed proud of herself for kicking my kids, partner and I out of the restaurant. Only because they had a busy day. (It was not busy when we got there).A couple walked in right behind us, and I noted it, so I had a cigarette outside before leaving to see if she was going to ask that couple to leave as well. She did not. They arrived at the same time as us, immediately after us, actually.I will not be returning to this restaurant for my favorite clubhouse sandwich, or to buy scratch tickets, smokes and gas. I'll take my business elsewhere after this experience.0 stars.

Charlie's Grill and pizza is the spot you didn't know you were missing. Holy fookin smokes this place was insanely delicious. My husband and I went for break/lunch today and I have never had a more delicious cheese burger in my life. It cannot be explained. I got the fresh cut fries and gravy and my date ordered home fries with onions (if you don't like onions we can't be friends ? jk) I can't wait to go back. It was my dad's favorite place for pickerel and I see why. The 2 staff members who were looking after us were super friendly and it felt like it took 3 minutes for your food to show up. The view of the mountain was the icing on the cake. It is 1 million percent our new regular spot. I want to try the pizza next and the club house and the soups and the nachos... it is so so so good ?Kid-friendliness: Kid menu looked amazing butour kids were at school ?Parking: Ample parking
Always fast, efficient service with a great meal. We decided on a whim to have lunch & walked in & found a seat right away. The club house sammys were awesome. The fries & gravy too. Yum. Was enough for lunch & dinner that night

I love going here to eat because they serve all day breakfast. The portions are great. The server was super attentive and kind. I love that they offer bacon, sausage and fried bologna. Fried bologna is so good with breakfast.I've also had the pickerel dinner from here and it was so scrumptious. Highly recommend the BIG BREAKFAST AND PICKERAL DINNER.
