Palace Restaurant The Reviews
I decided to treat myself to breakfast recently and ended up at the palace in Glencoe Ontario.. I can't say enough about this place and the people run and Tammy treated me like family.. the food was amazing I couldn't tell you how wonderful it was to have a breakfast that didn't come out of a box from a fast chain because that seems to be all there is open anymore so I hope they stay open for a long time and the way to ensure that is by more people going there because I couldn't...read full review
Great service and delicious food 😊
I have been in several evenings over the last few weeks. I have to say that the servers are very polite, and friendly! And the food is delicious... The Palace Restaurant in Glencoe, Ontario, is a highly praised establishment known for its exceptional food and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast menu is particularly noteworthy, with homemade dishes that stand out from typical fast-food offerings. Customer favorites include the shrimp served in a unique "torpedo style," and the fresh, delicious fish and chips. The restaurant is owned and operated by Ron Lamb and his wife, who have also owned the neighboring McKellar for many years. Despite the high quality of the food and service, the restaurant is sometimes surprisingly empty, and the owners hope more people will discover this hidden gem in Glencoe. Customers appreciate the great prices and quick service, with many enjoying the Greek omelette and home fries, as well as the canzone. Although the decor is dated, the restaurant remains pleasant and very clean, making it an inviting choice for both locals and visitors.
