Cane back today. Have to say the food was some of the best I've ever had. Great job guys and thank you !!!
Really disappointed today. I get waiting for your food. 65 minutes but when you wait and the order is all wrong and no one comes back to ask how things are. That I had was good but my companion ordered the hungry man breakfast with eggs over hard and brown toast with bacon. Eggs were cold and runny toast was white and bacon was so well done she could hardly chew it and didn't finish it. Went to the counter to pay and didn't even get asked there how everything was. I don't usually do reviews but this is the 3rd time in a row that the service and food were so bad and wrong.

I used to pass through the Kokomosh Cafe/gas bar all the time when I moved to Ottawa a couple years ago. A charming, well run rest stop when heading to visit family in Bancroft. Sadly, I tend to take a more direct route on my trips these days since I switched to an electric car, so I don't get to stop in as much (a level 3 charger would be a huge tourist draw for the area!). But I still try and recommend this place any chance I get.

If there were a Michelin guide book for chicken wing and pizza places, Kokomish would be at the top.
I've visited this place a handful of times over the past 15 years when visiting with my in-laws. Yesterday we moved much much closer to them and I see myself spending most of my dine out meals here.
Easily the best pizza between Pembroke, Renfrew, Eganville and all points between.

Classic diner food with all-day breakfast. Lots of variety in choices, loved the liver and oignons. Very friendly service.

I was lucky enough to get patio seating in their overflow area, overall they were very busy so took some time for food, but.... Their hungryman breakfast is large for a good price. Do recommend if you in area.

Very good breakfast (large portions), good coffee, and reasonably priced. Like the smalltown diner feel, but sadly didn't have room for dessert. Pies looked amazing. Highly recommend.

A local favorite! Always great food and amazing service with a smile. Cannot recommend enough.
Update:Called ahead and picked up a Medium Makwa Pizza on the way to our camp. It was awesome! Loaded with quality ingredients, lots of yummy cheese and the crust was great! For me, there could have been more sauce on it, but we keep coming back again and again!!The main reason for our visit today, was to browse for Christmas gifts. The service in the Gift Shop was excellent. We were greeted and acknowledged, and we were left to browse without interruption. My inquiries and questions were given prompt attention and I made some wonderful and unique purchases. I cannot wait to return and do even more shopping. Next time, I'll be treating myself!! Also, we are very excited to enjoy a meal at the restaurant. It smelled great, walking through there! Thank you!

In a pinch not knowing what to do for supper, decided on some take out! Ordered a cheeseburger platter, was very good. A chicken finger platter with poutine which was also good. And a chicken Caesar wrap with poutine ??. Only “complaint” I have is the fryer oil might possibly need a change but aside from that it was perfect!

Delicious! My new favorite poutine place. I've tried the fried chicken, mozza sticks, poutine, BLT, regular fries, pierogies, pancakes, over easy eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns, chicken fingers the ice cream and the pizza!!!! I loved and recommend everything BUT the pizza. I also love the gift shop! Bought a delicious smelling candle, company called dark horse handcrafted and a very cute necklace. Can't wait to be back in Golden lake. The servers were fantastic too.

Wife has ate there many times over the years with no complaints.Today she took me and we are starving. We could not finish a quarter for multiple reasons... She ordered a club with no tomato, onion rings with gravy on the side and a slice of pickle - it came covered in tomatos, french fries with gravey on them and no pickles.Tasted off.I ordered hot turkey gravy sandwich (first confirmed that it was real turkey) and upgraded fries to poutine (first confirmed that it was cheese curds)Turkey was sliced and had strings of fat around the perimeter of each slice. Poutine was not cheese curds. In different spots that I tried had weird flavors that didn't sit well. Bread spots that didn't have gravy on it tasted kind of stale but could have been lightly toasted maybe?? Fries seemed bruised dark colored spots.Food did come fast but with all the other issues we walked out starving and my stomach doesn't feel good after only a few bites of the weird spots of turkey or gravey. Couldn't tell which..
