Came here on a cold and rainy day, ordered the BLT on rye with fries and gravy(pictured below, I ate half my sandwich before taking the picture). The server was very welcoming and the food was extremely comforting.

It was okay. Food was a bit plain and service a bit slow. For atmosphere sit in the front room. Sold out of white fish and trout.

Stopped by for a late weekday lunch and found the restaurant mostly empty, with a few patrons enjoying the large outdoor patio by the water and some staff members dining inside. There is the a nice waterfront view.
The menu had some decent choices, but the experience fell a bit short in execution. I ordered the hot hamburger, which came with seasonal vegetables listed as part of the meal. Unfortunately, I was told those wouldn’t be available until dinner service because they hadn’t been prepped yet. That was disappointing. The limited alternative side options didn’t appeal to me, so I opted to upgrade to a Greek salad for an extra $4. The salad was fresh, generously portioned, and served on its own plate.
My partner chose the wild game bangers and mash, only to find out that mashed potatoes were also unavailable until dinner. Again, limited sides were offered, and he settled on the roast potatoes, which turned out to be a single large piece that resembled bread more than traditional roast potatoes, and not quite what he expected.
The food itself was average overall, though I’ll give a shout-out to the gravy on the hamburger, it was rich and flavorful and probably the highlight of the meal. Our server was friendly and attentive, checking in on us during the meal. Also, the bathroom was clean, which is always appreciated.
In summary: the location is great, service was good, and while the food had its moments, the limited lunch prep and unavailable menu items definitely affected the experience. Might be worth trying again during dinner hours when the full menu is available.

We went here for dinner after golf on a Monday. Good food and service. We were able to get a table fortunately, even though the website said reservations were required so thank you for serving us. Caesars were flavourful and they ask how spicy you want them. I enjoyed my Reuben sandwich and poutine. Wings were good. The salad was missing blueberries which was in the description. If you're looking for a specific dish, call beforehand because one table wanted the whitefish dinner but they didn't have it. There were also fajitas on the menu but that wasn't available either. I would eat here again nonetheless.

First time going to this restaurant. It was my birthday so we tried something different. I ordered the fettuccini and added in the chicken for $7.50. Husband ordered pork tenderloin. Fettuccini was very good but the chicken was grissley and fatty and after about 4 pieces I put them aside on the plate as I couldn’t chew them. My husband tried one piece and had to spit it out. I ate all of the fettuccini but told the waitress that the chicken was not edible and explained why. She advised owner who told her I ate most of it (I did finish the fettuccini and did not have an issue with paying for that) and he would not be taking the $7.50 off for the chicken which seemed like the cut off portions from a chicken breast that you throw out. Skipped desert and won’t be going back. Waitress was lovely and no blame on her at all.

Where do I start. Our waitress was so unprofessional. Her first words to us were complaints about the kitchen staff, followed by her mentioning she'd rather be home sleeping. We were a party of 9 so we gave her plenty of grace. The 2 hour meal service and interaction with this waitress was painful, but in the end our food was delicious!

It just gets to a point where I don’t wanna go to restaurants anymore.
The last few Restaurant-visits I’ve come to realize that anyone that’s claiming they’re making a Greek salad is a straight out liar and has no idea what a Greek salad actually is even though it’s the easiest salads in the world to make.
I do agree with another Review that was speaking about this authentic in-house made stuff.
I would bet my next paycheque that the salad ingredients were Line condiments and they smash it all together and then add that horrific generic industrial salad dressing and call it Greek beyond the fact that I had lettuce in it.
I recognize that this can sound petty but for 20 bucks when I’ve got a craft Salad impersonating an actual Greek salad I am insulted.
My brother actually works in the industrial food industry GFS, Etc. and I really wish you would’ve have All the stories about food. The rest of the menu that my friends had experience certainly looked really good but for me I was simply turned off as soon as I saw the salad anyways it’s a beautiful view. Service was reasonably good. I just won’t order another salad.
Excellent meal, our group had the whitefish dinner and a hot turkey. All was delicious, and the service was fantastic!

We stayed at the Inn at Gore Bay. This restaurant was on the property. Prices are very fair and the Reuben and turkey club were excellent. Fries are fresh cut and delicious. Views are amazing here. Service was excellent.

Walked in hoping for a nice experience, but it turned out to be quite the opposite. We stood there for several minutes with no greeting or acknowledgment. The table was dirty and never cleared, and despite the place not being busy, the server acted too occupied to even take our order. It felt like we were intentionally overlooked — very disappointing and uncomfortable.
