I was really disappointed with the pricing and value during my recent visit. Charging $15 for a plain pancake with no fruit, whipped cream, or sides feels excessive. Similarly, the $15 price tag for a basic cheese melt, something that’s easily available for under $10 at many decent restaurants, just doesn’t make sense. It’s hard to justify these prices when the portions and presentation don’t stand out. I also noticed they’ve removed their charcuterie board for two, which used to be one of the highlights of the menu. Sadly, this visit didn’t live up to past experiences.

Such a great little spot by the water! Cottage Cafe is a super chill and cozy place right by the canal. The vibe is awesome, the service was friendly and efficient, and everything we tried , especially the coffee and pastries were delicious. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a cute spot to relax and enjoy the view in the morning

what a beautiful place for breakfast. food was 11/10. there are so many places to sit, the sun room is air conditioned to perfection, but if you want to sit in the sun outside, there are plenty of seats right on the water. There’s also umbrella covered seating for shade, and even with how busy it was, we got our order in amazing timing, and the gift shop is adorable! So worth the trip, great customer service, amazing atmosphere. The desserts—don’t even get me started!! This is a must-visit restaurant if you’re in the area!

I had received a gift certificate for breakfast for 4 people. We went with friends on the weekend. Food was delicious. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They had some lovely local gifts for sale as well. We will definitely be back. Only drawback was we had to pay to park.

So this place is decent but I went here and parked in a marked spot outside, was only inside for 10 mins and came outside to a parking ticket over 100 dollars, I won't be supporting any grand bend or lambton shore business anymore, called to try and get it reduced and they didn't seem to care as they had a private company collecting the fees
Been there a few times now and it's a good café but last time we were there we parked by to run in to get a quick coffee & we ended up with a $150.00 parking ticket !!? That is insane and we will not be returning due to that

Went for lunch while in Grand Bend. Unfortunately, was quite disappointed with the food I received. Ordered the ham and Swiss croissant sandwich. The sandwich had only one slice of ham and one slice of cheese. For the price, there should have been much more as it was quite expensive. The hash browns that came with the sandwich were also not crisp and there were few of them. Would not return and am not sure why the rating for this cafe is so high. I will say that the service was friendly and the location and patio are very nice.

We came in early on the morning of the power outage. Both ladies working were so lovely, food and coffee were spectacular! Setting is beautiful and homey. Would recommend to anyone :)
