A bunch of us from Arthur rode our bikes along the old rail line from Arthur to Grand Valley. 1.5 hour bike ride. Or nearly 18km. Two adults four kids ages 9 to 14. This pub was the perfect stop! Open on Monday (not on Tuesday) we didnt even think of food when started our bike ride. Thank goodness this pub was open on a Monday!!! We were tired, thirsty and hungry. Food that hit the spot? We stopped in on a whim while out for a drive and found what is now my new favourite spot. Sitting on the patio while listening to live music and getting served the best food by the most helpful and friendly staff is a new core summer memory for me. It’s been two weeks and I can’t wait to come back for more bow tie pasta. You’ve knocked it out of the park with this one!
My sister took me here for my bday as it's somewhat between our houses. It was the first time for both of us. Mid-to-late afternoon, and it was quiet. We both ordered fish and chips, as well as Shirley Temples (we don't drink). Portion sizes for the fish were generous. It was definitely made to order as it was piping hot! Delicious food, decent prices. Would definitely visit again 👍
