We were going to a whiskey tasting and my cousin found this gem online in downtown Grimsby. I had the breakfast burger — a thick, juicy homemade patty, perfectly seasoned, stacked with thick-cut bacon, onions, lettuce, tomato, pickle, mayo, and a runny egg on a soft bun. Absolute comfort food. My wife went with the gyro and loved it. Mama even came out to show her how to wrap it properly so none of the good stuff escapes. That kind of touch says it all..

I don’t know how this place has such high reviews. Super deceiving. The food was cheap and cold.
How do you charge 35$ for a tiny grilled cheese (kid sized that a 3 year old would eat.) on cheap white bread and fake plastic cheese. Not even a nice fresh sourdough or real cheddar.
Also how do you serve cold soup and ask your customer if they are just going to warm it up at home??? And then proceed to make a joke saying you’ll charge extra for it to be warmed….
Sorry, but If I’m ordering food from a place (with a 4.7 rating) I expect it to be fresh and hot already. Especially if I am paying 35$!!!

What a great little gem in Grimsby for breakfast. Just like a great home cooked meal. Quality ingredients, nice serving sizes, great service staff. You can see them preparing your food and the people doing it seemed like they could be your mama or grandma. Sweet and cheerful. You do pay up at the counter on the way out (as an FYI). The bacon is delicious!.
I saw many recommendations for this place and 8 hours later I’m still shaking my head as to what everyone experienced that I didn’t. 34.00 for breakfast before tip which I still left . Mediocre food worst cup of coffee ever. So weak and in the smallest cup I’ve ever seen. Their dishes cutlery was from the 20’s. Sorry I don’t know how they stay on business. I don’t mind paying that for a breakfast but this was not worth it. 3 French toast that were wonder bread thin, cold maple syrup on already lukewarm French toast Ham and eggs home fries

We were there on Thursday which was great as the Main Street in front of the restaurant was closed off for a farmer’s market. Party of 4. 3 of us had breakfast of which 2 had eggs with sausage & home fries and the other had a Mexican omelette whilst the 4th in our group decided to eat onion rings! All were delicious. Paid $65 for 4. Service was great. Food was freshly cooked, came piping hot to the table. Sorry, we were hungry so tucked into our breakfast for lunch and forgot to take pictures.
Parking: There’s plenty of free parking behind the restaurant
