Mexican Burrito & Tacos

I am so wildly disappointed. I have been meaning to check out this Mexican restaurant in GRIMSBY for sometime and today. Finally we decided to order takeout.
Sadly it was almost an edible. If I wasn’t hungry, I would have returned the food. It does not taste like Mexican at all! The taco shells were stale, the ground beef is so salty and bizarre tasting. I’ve never tasted anything like it?! I have been to Mexico many many times and eaten “Mucho” Mexican food over the years and this is bizarre. If it didn’t have cilantro, I wouldn’t even have called it Mexican.

Horrible food and service- very rude owners -save yourself and do not order from here

The gentleman at the front that put together our burritos was polite, other than that the food was horrible. The corns and beans were raw, the chicken did not taste good. The worker was visibly sweating over the food, it was hotter inside than outside and it was a 30 degree+ day which makes me think the food was probably unsafe to eat. Will never be going back, if you’re craving Mexican don’t go here we threw out our food and wasted our money.

The chicken tastes nothing like Mexican food. It tastes like shwarma (maybe from next door?) The rice is very dry and clumpy. The salsa was orange for some reason. I asked for the burrito well done (which means cooked longer in the press) and it wasn't under the press for a full minute and everything fell apart
as soon as I bit into it. Way too much stuffed into the wrap. The place doesn't look up to code. I worry things were being kept at the right temperatures. I threw it in the garbage after 3 bites. I wouldn't go back if you paid me.

I just showed up at 815 and was about to get something and realized the owners closed and were leaving yet there sign says 9 pm they close ???? I mean change your sign if you don’t plan on staying for the hole shift ?

One of the best Burritos and bowls around. Better than all the big franchises. Authentic, great portion sizes, great flavours.

Was craving Mexican food and saw this place. Not my first time here, had the tacos here before. I was excited to try a quesadilla. I went for the veggie quesadilla and that was one of the worst ones I have ever had for two reasons.

They used a massive wrap that had cheese only on one side, the wrap separated and was so messy to eat. All the vegetables were falling out. The wrap pcs would not hold together even a little. A quesadilla should hold together! I could not eat it with my hand. Had to eat it with a fork like salad.

The salsa added on the sides did not taste like Mexican salsa at all. It was lacking tomato sauce. If a Mexican restaurant cannot do a good salsa then it’s not a great Mexican Restaurant.

My wife said that she could have easily made the quesadilla at home and I completely agreed with her.

Not a lot of Mexican restaurants in town so I guess I will not be eating Mexican food regularly as this place left me unsatisfied after my meal. But best of luck to the business. I hope they can make some changes in the future.

Recommended dishes: Veggie Quesadillas

Definitely the worst place if you're craving decent Mexican food. I tried it once and that was enough. The guy put my burrito bowl together in under 15 seconds, and while he looked busy, it didn’t feel like it. Everything was stale – the veggies, meat, and rice were all off. I couldn't snap any pics because I took a single bite and ended up throwing the rest away. Sorry about that!

Ordered a beef burrito. It was ok. Not bad but not great.

Horrible and very dry Quesadilla. Salsa was not salsa most weird blend. Will not be coming back
