The pasta sauce was a bit watery and lacked flavor, and I was surprised that cracked pepper wasn’t offered (the pastas were $30 each). However, our server was friendly and did a great job despite the long wait for drinks. I’d recommend exploring other options

The restaurant also seated 5 of us in a space designed for 4-people, making it difficult to use cutlery without knocking the person next to you. I asked to speak the manager (owner), but he was busy chatting with friends and never bothered coming by our table. Save yourself the time and money by going to a better restaurant - there are plenty in Niagara region!

On top of that, the owner’s treatment of the staff was uncomfortable to witness, seeing him reprimand them while I waited for my food was disheartening. The prices simply don’t match the experience. Better management and a more welcoming attitude are needed. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend Oggi Bistro in its current state.

While the meals looked good, they clearly lacked in depth and seasoning I had a hard time finishing it and felt the price didn’t reflect the overall experience. The food took longer than expected, and sadly, it didn’t impress. The rice was undercooked, the beef was tough and cold despite being served on a hot plate, and while my friend's pasta was okay, it wasn’t something you’d expect from an Italian restaurant. The place was full, and it was freezing 🥶 outside. Shay was our server and was as friendly and sweet as could be. She took very good care of us and was attentive to our dining needs. My friend had the lobster 🦞 fettuccine, and I had the Veal shank with risotto. We shared a grilled calamari 🍤 appetizer and requested it to be grilled as I am gluten intolerant. The chef and owner accommodated our requests, and it was delicious..try the unbattered way. Our main entrees took a while to come out, but Shay brought my friend some fresh bread with olive oil & balsamic mix. Unique dispenser, and we had catching up to do. Our dinners arrived, and we enjoyed our dinners. Large portions, so note for the lighter eaters, bring home your portions as the food is too good to not take wirh you. For dessert the most scrumptious cheese cakes to choose from. We will be back. Remember that dining is not rushed as great food, deserves patience, and good company.

I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant. On a cold Saturday evening me and my wife were feeling cold even sitting inside of a main hall waiting for our food. The interior of the place is good looking even though whole place is covered with portable heaters. After waiting an hour for my dish, I was served the wrong meal entirely. I had ordered gnocchi, but received pappardelle instead. The food was bland and over-salted, completely lacking in flavor. My wife’s order was chicken cacciatore, the chicken seemed undercooked which is unacceptable. While eating we’ve heard who seemed to be the owner of the place, shouting at his staff in a very rude manner. To top it off, I was charged for the incorrect dish. I won’t be returning and would caution others to avoid this place.

The server couldn’t explain the specials at all, just offering a couple of words with no real details. For a total over $200 we got a tiny salad, heart-shaped ravioli, a choice of lamb or cod and two glasses of wine. Oh, and they tacked on a 20% service charge, which was just ridiculous. While the staff was friendly, the food was overpriced and underwhelming. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Gave this restaurant a second chance just in case our first experience was a one off bad day for Oggi Bistro; unfortunately, the experience was the same if not worse! Waited forever to place our order, food took a long time to come and the food we ordered was disappointing. Had to wait a long time for our bill which when it came, was wrong and had to wait again for the corrected bill. Server could barely answer any questions about the menu and then about why the charge for tax was on the bill (when there's still no tax being offered) They called it a "holiday tax"! Will never go back and I would not recommend this restaurant at all. Bad experience overall and a complete waste of money.
