This was such a a pleasant surprise. We were driving from Niagara on the lake back to toronto, and due to traffic up ahead, we decided to stop in for a drink and an appetizer... And we are so glad we did. While it was crowded and we didn't have a reservation, we sat outside and the owner, Leanne, personally looked after us. She was busy, for sure, but she took her time with us tourists and was very courteous and conversational.

My husband and I went to the Olive board for our anniversary dinner and had a wonderful evening. Upon arriving the waitress seated us and then brought us a complimentary glass of champagne so thoughtful of them. We had the muscles for an app before our main, so yummy. We had pre ordered the tomahawk steak and it was so delicious added grilled vegetables on the side and smashed potatoes wow what a meal. Definitely worth it and brought home the remainder for dinner the following night. The food was done perfect and definitely could feed about 4 people generously if you wanted to share. Thank you Olive board for the wonderful meal and evening.

The service was exceptional. We were served a selection of charcuterie boards, flatbreads, and premium cut steaks that paired perfectly with their wide choice of wines. The evening went off without a hitch and everyone had a great time. We’ll definitely be back. A+

My husband and I ate here a little while ago and were VERY disappointed. We ordered a few appetizers, the flatbread bottom was soggy as if the plate was wet and the pieces fell apart as we picked them up. We ordered the buffalo sliders that came out cold and overcooked. The cowboy caviar was just a bowl of chopped up tomatoes with a couple of beans and corn pieces with a side of crumbled up tortilla chip crumbs. I really wanted to like this place but it fell very short.

Good location, amazing patio and great food.
We were at Olive Board celebrating our friend’s 60th birthday. The menu has something for everybody. We had the cheese charcuterie board, tomato bruschetta and baked feta with olives, tzatziki sauce and warm peta bread. All outstanding and very reasonably priced. Great wine selection and local craft beer. Shout out to owner Leanna, GM Mellisa, servers Alyssa & Elise and kitchen Team Taylor & Amanda.
This is such a quaint spot and I recommend for couples out a small group. They also host family celebrations. We had our granddaughters baptism celebration there and they treated our family members like their own. If you haven’t tried this Grimsby gem I recommend you do.

This is my third time here at this restaurant and I have been so happy with my past experiences. This time i brought two new friends who have not been here before, and i was disappointed.
The service was outstanding! The atmosphere was great as usual. The food was delicious, BUT, the food was all tepid. We were all very excited for what we ordered, but soon lost the excitement once we took our first bites. Every dosh we ordered was luke warm. I had salmon(which was good and hot) and the Brussel sprouts and the smashed potato were both Luke warm. My dinner guests both ordered the seafood pasta. By the time they took the seafood out of their shells, the paste dish as a whole was completely cold. By the time our server came back around to check we were beyond the point of sending it back. We expressed our observations but made it clear that we fine. The food was very tasty and we were happy with everything except for the temperature.
We will be back to give another try.
Please take this review as constructive criticism and not as a slag against this restaurant. This was my experience and should not deter you from giving them a try.

Not baby friendly. No parking for this restaurant. It's either down the street or a block away at the Casablanca hotel. When I booked online and called to verify this reservation, no one mentioned the lack of parking. I went with 3 coworkers and all our babies. The pictures make this place look big, however, it was tight, no space for strollers, even though I had called in advance to say we were coming in with strollers and babies. No one gave us the heads up that there is no changing table for babies at this new location...had to change numerous diapers on their couches. There was only one indoor couch section option. The rest were outside, unavailable. Food and drinks were great, service was great.

I had booked a reservation for 10 people to celebrate a 60th birthday in June. We arrived Sunday at 5pm for our dinner. Our server was friendly and took our drink order. The server was managing at least 4 tables and was behind the bar making drinks for our table and others. Our server was great but definitely needed help. Given that they knew there was a large party coming I would have expected for our server to have had more help. We ordered 2 boards for the table and 2 additional apps to share. It did take a little longer than expected but the appetizers arrived and they were very good. Our server was working so hard trying to best serve each table and work behind the bar. I cannot fault her as she never stopped and continued to be friendly throughout the service. Our party had ordered 2 land & sea platters and 3 Flatbread meals. Our meals came out at various times with the 2 platters coming out last. We encourage our family to eat and not wait. When our platters did come out the steaks on both platters were over cooked. We had ordered Medium rare but received medium. The issue is the steaks were sliced and would easily be identified as over cooked. The lobster tails also were lukewarm. We ate the steaks and seafood because at this point we had waited a long time for our mains. Our waitress was informed the steaks were over cooked. At no time did anyone from management come and check on our table or address our concerns. We paid our bill and left. I contacted the restaurant to address my concerns and the manager called me back to talk. She said she wanted to talk to the staff and would get back to me to address the issues. I spoke to the manager back on July 2nd and have not received a call back. There are some brights spots but their customer service to large groups as well as their preparedness for large groups is lacking. I would not recommend this restaurant for a large group or for a special occasion.

We stopped by for lunch one Sunday. The restaurant was very quiet hence the score for atmosphere. However the menu was interesting and the food was well cooked and tasty. We had pomodoro pasta with chicken and others has the sliders which were very filling.
