My family came to visit on Mother’s Day, they know I love working there and wanted to come because it’s become the haliburton go-to for a lot of occasions. But my mom loved the interior decorating and was admiring everything from the Light fixtures, to the hanging wooden canoes to the big fireplace on the stone wall. There was an amazing live singer, food was just what they were looking for! Mom had a great day!

Great atmosphere at this restaurant and staff is friendly but food was disappointing. I suspect that we didn’t order the right things but shouldn’t matter. We had the brisket mac and cheese and stir fry with chicken. The stir fry tasted like airplane food and the chicken which we paid extra for tasted like boiled chicken added as an afterthought. It was tasteless and rubbery. The mac and cheese brisket was dried out and tasted old. The portion was tiny and my husband left hungry. Also felt not great value. $75 with the 2 entrees and 1 canned drink. Noted that no one stopped by to ask how food was. Wondering if they already knew the answer. Won’t be back.

Nice atmosphere, but the food was not great. Ate there twice. First time the mushroom caps were still froze in the middle. Second time the walleye was full of bones. Won't go back for food.

We did take out and I 100% agree with a lot of the other reviews. The food was tasty but definitely not worth the money for the amount you got! I ordered the loaded brisket Mac and cheese and I swear it looked like a kids meal! Thankfully I ordered a soup as a starter too. The rest of my family had the fish and chips and felt the same. We have eaten at other places and for the price received way more food that tasted just as good. Extremely disappointed.
