Went in for lunch. Soup of the day was pretty good. French onion soup was watery, salty and burnt tasting. Not enough liquid. Croutons soaked up soup and processed cheese wasn't good. Ordered a sandwich we could not eat. Meat or sauce on it were rancid. Server was very sweet and apologetic and took sandwich off the bill. We didn't complain about soup because we just didnt want to complain any more. I hope this review causes the restaurant to review their food preparation.

Maple Ave Tap & Grill- Haliburton
Amazing homemade soup and sandwich special on Saturday! We were greeted right away by a friendly server, and our meals came out quickly. The food was fresh, flavorful, and comforting- just what you want in a small town gem.
What really stood out was how spotlessly clean everything was- even the bathrooms were exceptionally tidy and inviting. You can tell they care about every detail here! A must top when you are in Haliburton!

30 minutes to order with about 20 customers and 2 servers.
15 minutes to get our drinks.
1 hour to get our nachos.
Nachos were just ok.
Nice little patio in front.
Not a lot of options in the area.
If your not in a rush it's good.
If your in a rush go elsewhere.

Great service, and sandwiches and burgers looked great, however, I asked the server what are they known for and she recommended a cashew Thai noodle dish.
Taking her suggestion I ordered the Thai dish and my hunnie ordered the Ruben.
The Thai dish was a disaster and truly tasted like it came out of a frozen food package and heated up in the microwave.
Underwhelming to say the least.
As a professional chef this is not a recommend dish.
Excellent!
Absolute must for a casual feed ! Great staff for sure ! Thanks Chris & Sandy

It was a stop for lunch on our way home. The crab 3 cheese dip had way too much mayonnaise. The French fries were good. The service was up beat and good.

28 dollars for a soggy undercooked fish sandwich that looks better than it tastes and a side of onion rings 🤨

Decent food. A little pricey for essentially a hamburger with fries

It's a very nice location with friendly staff! Their food has some good flavor, although a bit overpriced. I ordered the lunch special as the chicken parmesan wasn't available until after 4. The speacial was a chicken bacon ranch wrap. The wrap had very little chicken and easily distinguishable of a chicken parmesan breast, most likely left over from the previous dinner shift.

We enjoyed breakfast here. The staff were accommodating and welcoming and the restaurant inside looked renovated. We had the Brunch Board for two which was very tasty and satisfying.
