McKeck's-Tap and Grill is a long-standing restaurant in Haliburton village, adorned with hockey memorabilia. It offers a range of appetizers, sandwiches, and local draft beers, providing an enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant has free parking. Fairly busy on a Sunday afternoon with NFL football on TV. The local brew was nice, and the spinach dip was very good. Fish and chips and poutin were all good. The beer disappeared quickly, and the views were an ocean of fall colors. Service was quick and friendly. Happy hour is a cost-effective marvel. On a Monday afternoon, the food was good, and service once sat was great. Freshness was there. Three meals consisted of Rueben on rye, a beef burger, and halibut fish & chips.
