CACAO 70 Sweet House

Very small, cozy cafe. Cute spot for a date or a small group. Had the S'mores Hot Chocolate, the Banana Toffee cookie and the Caramel Pecans cookie. The Hot Chocolate was almost perfect, just wish it didn't have the crunchy waffle-like ingredient added. The cookies are great as well, the Banana Toffee just needed a touch of salt but otherwise, chef's kiss.

$1.50 churro on a Thursday. We loved the offer on a cold morning but they were reheated, not fresh fried. The taste was good and size was reasonable.

I’m sure the donuts are great but we ordered at 2:55pm and received our order at 3:30pm… we weren’t told it was going to be that long and perhaps someone was just new or something? A guy came in, complained about his order being wrong and my wife and I got our order at the same time as him. My wife also overheard the staff say “you’re just finishing that order now?” The staff was obviously aware at how long this took and didn’t really do anything about it. At least acknowledge or apologize for the order taking so long.

I have tried Iced (Brewed) coffee. Not worth wasting money. In general you can't get any nice real quality speciality coffee in town and they are no different

Churros were very good but we ordered an espresso and a macchiato and the taste of coffee was really bad, sour and not even the milk did not help improve the taste.

This place used to be good. But the quality and service has gone down. Was there this Thursday and received churros that were raw inside. When we mentioned it to them, they simply said "we can give you new ones, but they'll be the same inside". Also had their coffees and lattes, all of them had a very burnt taste, didn't even finish it. Took a couple sips then chucked it. It's a shame, because it's was our go to stop whenever at the outlets, But we'll need to find a new spot now.
