Went into furnace room last weekend, was greeted by the Manager Nikki who instantly made me feel welcome. Kyle was my server and he was very knowledgeable on the place and very friendly. The food was incredible and Rae came out to even ask me how it was. All in all great experience.

Stopped by for a quick pint and a bite. The friendliness and service encountered from Kyle was amazing. From the time we entered, we were greeted with a smile and he even gave us a quick history lesson about the brewery. Great recommendation on the furnace room bites and fries. Simple but so flavourful! Will definitely be back!

Highly disappointed and dejected as soon as we reached to the place. We were there around 12pm and that’s the time brewery opens, but the guy was opening the place at 12:10pm. He saw us coming and instead of greeting us he told us that “I HAVEN’T OPENED THE DOOR YET”. We didn’t mind waiting until he opened the door, but the tone of telling us was very rude. As soon as he opened the door, he told us that I can’t serve upstairs and asked us to come downstairs for anything we order. We were there with family and kids. We drove there an hour to enjoy their beer after checking reviews but highly disappointed after this treatment. I would give him negative star if I can. We decided to leave the place right after. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COST.

We drove from Toronto to this place just to enjoy this place seeing the reviews, however we were quite disappointed. We reached around 1205 noon and the guy was opening up the place. We were with kids and as soon as we reached the door, the guy mentioned I have not opened yet in a very condescending tone. Then he opened up in like a minute and as soon as we go inside the guy tells us that the food will take time and if you go to sit upstairs then I will not be serving there due to an injury. Basically we were expected to come down for whatever we order which was not an issue but the tone was not right. We decided to leave the place right away. Will not be coming back here for sure!

What an interesting and cozy place! Right near the train station (just a few minutes walk) and you can watch the trains go by from the upstairs dining area windows.
Excellent menu, excellent beer selection. I enjoyed the Stout on tap the best. Food was excellent, everyone enjoyed the fish and chips.
Our waitress, sorry I didn't catch your name, was incredible. She was tending bar, staffing the retail area, zipping up the stairs to take everyone's order, keep their drinks filled, and deliver food, quickly and with a friendly nature. I hope this location realizes what an asset she is (was working yesterday afternoon, Friday June 20th 2025, by herself). I liked that you could look down into the brewery area. They also had a great assortment of board games if you wanted to while away the afternoon. They have an outdoor seating area and some nights live music

On Saturday we got there in the afternoon just before the rush! As always the service was friendly and fast even though it got busy. We loved the appetizers and a great lunch date. We sat on the picnic tables and had a nice relaxing time.

My family & I spent father's day at the furnace room it was clearly the place to be, they had corn hole and live music. The staff were non stop and hands down AMAZING!! What really stood out to me was when I went to take my daughter to use the bathroom the manager Nikki had just come out from cleaning it the fact that she took the time to make sure the washrooms were clean and sanitized for costumers during a rush is amazing !!!
Great food, great service, great entertainment, bonus CLEAN !! We will definitely be back !!

Waited for over an hour for our food to arrive. The fish and chips were extremely greasy and tasteless. They seem to cater to the beer drinking crowd rather than the food service or quality. Will not be back .
Came to the brewery and while ago and was absolutely amazed by Max's customer service and politeness. The food and drinks were great definitely coming back!

She made me a fish and chip on Fridays I was latterly happy to have that thank you so much Dora Smith I will be there every week if you make me fish and chips lollll😹 once again thank you for making my day.
