When my dear old friends from Toronto's Queen Street scene drop by my new Georgetown home I always bring them to Uncorked on Main for entertainment and excitement. The bare brick décor compliments every beverage that mixologist Hannah prepares with patience and detail while the live music swirls around the room in quadraphonic bliss. We held a private party for my wife’s significant birthday and had 55 people. Everyone agreed that it was terrific. Sarina and her team were outstanding. Experienced, welcoming, totally focused on our happiness. Food was great too.

I stop in every so often, and am always greeted warmly and well served by the friendly and attentive staff. This place is one worth spending a comfortable evening and/or date night in. It has a nice, classy, modern aesthetic and equally nice food and drink options. Speaking of which, get the fries. Their fries are awesome.

Unfortunately not a great experience. Attended as a large group and the waitress forgot our 2 entrees (taco trio). We were charged for our bottle or wine and our appetizer and the waitress made a point that she was removing the food we didn't receive from our bill as though she was doing us a huge favour. We were still charged he mandatory full service charge even though no entrees arrived and any meaningful apology was missing. Mistakes happen and great location but very poor customer service.

Been before with the previous owners numerous times but after attending an event under the new owners I will no longer recommend. We arrived over a half hour early for the event to avoid much delay because obviously we do understand with an event things would be busy. Two of the cocktails that were order were soo strong they were undrinkable til wateredown, also cost $14. The food didn't arrive til the event had ended , a 2 hours show. Food was basic and missing even the easy additions like sauces to help get them down, also extremely over prices (flatbread is $20 and smaller then the average). When the owner came over to speak with the table he was unapologetic and seemed to blame us (we had aleady paid and tipped). He gave us every excuse out there and really did not seem to care about anything we actually had to say. Sadly, the food and customer service here no longer match the price tag.

Went to uncorked for an anniversary dinner at 9pm Google said that they closed at 1030pm and when we arrived they said they did last call already and was not seating tables. A hour and half early and for a place that doesn’t take reservations you think that they would stay open till the time you have on the door. The owner I guess ?said they close early because it wasn’t busy and turn us away ,in the rain was the kicker. I will not be returning to uncorckes. Too bad because I like this spot when I can get a table and they stay open.

I am a fixture in this place and I can say with 110% certainty that the owners are kind and gentle people who never threaten their staff. The staff operates as a family, and I have known the owners to even offer to bring food when staff is home sick. The restaurant and their staff have received numerous theats and bogus reviews to try and undermine them for having such events as drag shows and being all inclusive etc.... Mistreating staff and creating an unsafe atmosphere are not tolerated and they have received flack for this. All I can say is take any review for any business with a grain of salt, people lie for a variety of motives. If you are wondering what the restaurant is really like come enjoy a night out and give it a try! Half price wine bottles on Wednesdays and live music Fri and Sat ❤️

Was going to go here with my family for dinner but when i was standing outside the restaurant i heard the owner threatening to punch one of their employees teeth in, seems like a horrible environment so i didn’t feel comfortable eating here anymore.
