“In response to Sofia Kraans post, I just wanted to leave a review that clarifies the Atmosphere, Service, and Food of this welcoming neighborhood restaurant during her time here.
I was sitting next to the gentleman she is referring to on this evening and could not dispute her experience more.
I had observed the server in question being kind, courteous and professional as she served this young woman and her friend.
I witnessed the food come out, in a timely manner and even made comments about how good it smelled and looked. I watched as the server communicated what the wait time looked like to her table prior to the food arriving.
I had overheard condescending comments being made towards the server from the table.
There were rude comments made to question the server, when she inquired a manager how to charge her for a Large Glass Clamato, since they don't have a button for that sort of request. I mean who does? Am i right?
And the gentleman who made her so uncomfortable (who appeared to come off the street, but said he was from Wikwemikong) came in ordered a beer, an appetizer and a main and put down a bill that would cover his order in front of him. The server placed the order and when the man ordered a second beer, the server questioned the man if he was driving as he had shown slight signs of possible impairment. He assured he was not and specified he would be requiring a cab when his food arrived.
At this point, I knew the gentleman was in for a 20 minute stay as he was waiting for his food, and was very happy he had found a welcoming establishment to get himself a meal. We chatted as he waited ensuring he felt comfortable. His food arrived, a cab was called at his request and he left without incident. He had tried to order a 3rd beer and the server declined and informed the gentleman his cab was on the way and could not be served anymore.
The gentleman in question caused no distress or harm to anyone around and to justify THAT being the reason to write a review and NOT TIP a server who handled TWO very difficult situations with grace and professionalism, and then be informed that a negative review from a customer, who claimed she "worked in the industry", is not only dishonest but disheartening. Would they not show grace and understanding themselves? Should we not create a safe and welcoming environment for anyone regardless of status?
If that's the type of drive-thru, no judgement, never serve someone intoxicated industry this individual works in for ZERO tips and then behaves like others should do better , let's all be Less. Cause if we do do better than that, we're getting a 2 star google review 11 minutes after they walk out the door.“

“I love coming here since I was young. But recently I’ve been getting this newer server who repeatedly has been making my alcoholic beverage wrong. I have been getting so drink for years, so you’d think I’d know the appearance and taste. Her response is rude when I brought up my concerns, she states “I put everything that goes in there, that’s what it looks like”. I’ve told her that I’ve been having this drink for years and it usually has a creamy look and taste, which the one she keeps presenting is not. I’ve come again hoping to receive the drink as ordered, but yet again she has made me the drink incorrectly. The other two young ladies who usually run the Bar, ALWAYS make it perfect and maintain consistent taste. I know this girl has been here a few months, but this should be corrected. The lady who has served me today wears glasses. Couldn’t get her name.
Other than this server, this place is amazing and other staff (Britney & others I cannot recall) are so nice and go out of their way to give their customers a wonderful experience.“
