I feel like this has to be said, don't go here unless you want food poisoning, I had to be sure me and my family, including my ANOREXIC girlfriend. Went and got some subs as a gift to me from my stepfather, we got our usuals this time my girlfriend decided to try a meatball sub, safe to say we got food poisoning, I felt like absolute crap after this experience, and to double check if it was the food I ate my other half. Safe to say it is Subway safe to say I did get food poisoning from it. And safe to say after consuming it a second time to be sure before making a review I am now once again sick. And my girlfriend has been sick as well as my mother get your crap together food should stay in someone's body after consumption not immediately make you sick.

My sub always tastes good which is great but holy moly for service. Not too sure who operates this location but they need to just take a step back and focus on service building. Teach their staff.

Just showed up to get a sub after shift and they said they are closing early because its been slow. It is 10:55 pm and their sign states they are open until midnight on Fridays.

Massive language barrier extremely hard to understand.
The worse customer service i have ever seen.
Order was incorrect, tired to correct politely. Received remarks in a non English or french language.

Staff is very dismissive. They take forever to do online orders, so you are standing there for far too long. They don't say have a good day back even if you say it first. Food sucks now too. Not worth it.

I usually don’t post reviews, but I felt this needed to be said.

I visited this location recently and had a frustrating experience. There was only one person working, which I initially understood — we even left the store for a bit to give him space and came back after some time, thinking he might be done or more manageable.

When we returned, he said he still had to finish online orders, which I accepted politely. We sat down and waited for our turn, thinking he would call us when ready. But to my surprise, he served two customers who came in after us without even acknowledging us sitting there. I looked at him, expecting some communication — but he completely ignored us.

When I finally stood up and went to the counter, he didn’t apologize or even explain. Instead, he started asking what sandwich I wanted — but in a rushed and impatient way. And what really shocked me: he handled money, didn’t change his gloves, and then went straight to preparing food. That’s unacceptable for food safety and hygiene.

The entire experience felt careless and dismissive. I’m not expecting perfection, but basic respect, hygiene, and serving customers in the order they arrived is the bare minimum. If one staff member is overwhelmed, they should at least communicate properly — not ignore customers or cut corners.

I’m really disappointed. I didn’t want to post a negative review, but the lack of professionalism and disregard for cleanliness pushed me to say something.

I've been here 5 times the last month and a half. Each time it is always rotten veggies. I have to tell the workers that it is rotten. They argue it is fresh, you can see the brown wilted veggies, soggy, slimey so gross! They eventually get fresh ones. Unfortunately this location has went down hill! One of the times the meat was off.. no hair nets, gloves have to be asked to be worn. So gross!

Hanover subway recently has been a string of disappointment! As a vegetarian, I always get the veggie sub. They always skimp on the toppings especially on online orders. They give you 5 spinach even if you order extra on the app! Even their bread was hard.. They never have any cookies, if they do they are hard as a rock. I thought this was the norm now with inflation but today I went to the Walkerton Subway, lo and behold, it is the subway I loved and missed. Lesson learned will be traveling 10 more mins to get the real subway!
