Received a local recommendation as the best breakfast in the area and decided to visit The Wreck. We were first customers of the day, they open at 8am which is great! The food is freshly made, amazing pancakes, great value for your money with generous helping of the basic breakfast option: eggs/homefries/sausage. The staff were fantastic and welcoming, and such a comfortable spot with a view of the beach. Don't miss this spot on your stop in the area!

Had an impromptu dinner for final day with 12 staff from Sunshine Point camp
They accommodated us on the upper deck

We decided to try this restaurant based on the reviews. They were not correct! The food was mediocre at best and it was pricey for the subpar quality and arrived lukewarm. The server abandoned the patio we were on and we finally had to go into the main dining area to find her to get out bill.
The restaurant itself is run down. The patio tables were covered in cobwebs, the umbrellas were dislodging and flying around in the wind and there were ants everywhere.
Definitely not worth the money….find a better place to eat.

We had a wonderful experience food and drinks, pet friendly in patio a wonderful service offered. I would not go anywhere without my golden-doodle to eat outside in summer. Good food, atmosphere, price will not hit your pocket above all service was excellent.

The perch dinner was excellent. I would come back for that meal. Best I have had in the area.
Stephanie was an excellent server. Friendly, attentive and quick witted.
Ambience was beach town dive bar. More locals than tourists, which is to say that both are welcome, but it can stand on its own merit with the locals.
This place is worth the stop. I will be back.

I spent the day at the beach and was recommended to check this place out and was quite excited. 5 stars on the vibe. I didn’t go inside, just enjoyed the patio.. but overall seemed like a great mix of people and great music. Unfortunately that is kind of where a lot of the positive ended for me.
On arrival I was asked if I wanted anything to drink. I opted for a quick water while I decided on something else. Water came with menu.. I’m sitting and waiting and waiting.. all the tables around me are being seated and served.. the couple next to me says “I think you’ve been forgotten about” I respond “yes I’m clearly invisible”
I never once saw my original server again.. so after about 30 minutes of sitting there with a menu and a water I was able to get another servers attention.
She was super apologetic and friendly and felt absolutely horrified that I had been waiting that long because she was under the impression that the original server had my order.
Opted not to have a drink drink because I was just hungry and needed food. Ordered the Mac n chz bites and perch dinner… both were not very appealing sadly.. barely touched the perch dinner..
Server Camille was very nice and down to earth and an absolute sweetheart. I don’t think I will be rushing back for any lunch or dinner but I’ll certainly be back for the patio and a nice drink or two. - and when I do - I will happily update my review.

We had dinner on a weekend and the place was full. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was good too. Stephanie was our server and she was fighting awesome. So fun and full of knowledge. Very chatty which was great as we had a great time there.
This was our first time at The Wreck and we will definitely be back. Our server Stephanie was great! We took all of her food recommendations and she was right! My husband’s steak was cooked perfectly, and my perch taco’s were delicious.

I've heard such great things about this place and I'm sad that we had a horrible experience before we were seated (acknowledged). There was live music on the patio so we decided to head over for a drink. We were behind one other couple while two hostesses were talking, giggling and ignoring the line up starting. We stood for a few minutes while people were moving around and going upstairs (the two hostesses still giggling, hair twirling and ignoring). This guy comes up and grabbed the sign that says no service upstairs, turned it around (please wait to be seated )and slammed it on the counter in front of me (still no acknowledgement) took the giggling hair twirlers and left us standing there with another couple.
We turned around and left. We wont be back.
