Local...very disappointed. Poor ownership, customer disregard, flippant and obnoxious...wait stall, lazy, ignorant...its a shame someone with quality experience didn't get the place...unsatisfied and offended.. will NOT be back!...Good luck with THAT attitude in this community!!

Kitchen wasn’t taking orders for at least an hour due to being behind. We didn’t have an issue with this. Was told we could grab a drink at the bar but the man behind the bar was too busy playing on his phone to acknowledge us standing there for over 5 minutes. Ended up leaving. We’ll stick to CBG.

Arrived at 9pm, the waitress was rude, didn’t even attempt to assist us with a table. There was several tables on the outside deck that were empty. Then to be sure we left she told us only APPS. She also told us if we wanted tables together we would have to put them together. Last visit with the new owners was terrible service, cold food. We won’t be back. Good Luck!

Staff and owners were able to fix the mix up ! I appreciate them being able to go out of their way to fix the mistakes! I completely understand bars get swamped ! It happens ! It’s completely understandable they got wrecked ( pun intended;) ) ! Long weekend, good food and a fun place ! Thank you again, you all
Went for 1 pm seating for Mother's day buffet. Very disappointing. Leftover food from breakfast buffet which was your basic breakfast food of scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, tater tots, cereal which was weird and canned fruit. Add on for lunch was sone skinny quesadillas. Think it had a bit of cheese on it. Chicken fingers, no sauces, pizzas which looked sparsely topped. No salads as was promised. No desserts. Just one croissant and some small type of breakfast pastry clearly from breakfast. No flowers on tables and just nothing to make it special. Felt like a hotel free breakfast buffet. For $22.95 a person, expected better food choices. We walked out without eating.Reply to owner below- don't know who you are referring to but we were there at 12:45 for our 1 pm reservation. Had a glass of wine each. Paid for it and left after seeing the buffet choices. Due to your response now- the four of us won't be back. Too bad

The location was lovely, the service was horrible. We are locals in Colchester, very easy going, and hard to disappoint. Went for some food and drinks, but turned into some regret. Used to be a great place, now it seems the service and kitchen staff are very inexperienced since new owners took over.- had to arrange our own table / chairs, the server (named Bernice) laughed and walked away, never offered to help- messed up order twice, put sausage on a wrap to mask the fact they had no bacon and never told us, then the wrap was missing bacon again after waiting for it to come back with only a $3 compensation off the bill… lol- charged us different prices for the same drink- no drink menu and server was unaware of what beer they even served- waited over an hour for 1 burger- server was blatantly rude, no manners, swore, and blamed kitchen staff- server asked our friend to “finish his beer” so she could clear the table …- they seemed to run out of a lot of things, and would bring something else to replace it without telling or asking us (if you have allergies I would be very cautious)Really disappointing considering it’s such a great location. It’s apparent they are lacking trained or knowledgeable staff. Was actually embarrassing to bring our friends / family there. We went in the middle of the week (in May), I truly can’t imagine how they will handle the summer as it gets busier and busier. Hoping they are able to turn things around because we love to support Colchester local.

Hardly any sauce and toppings.We were told that the owner was cooking.Thought we would give them another chance. This week ordered a chicken club wrap. It came with sausage balls instead of bacon. They took it back, it returned with no bacon!!We live in the village, and would love this place to succeed!! But it needs a lot of improvement.

I went here and I ordered the perch dinner, my waitress dropped a piece on the ground. I asked if I can get another piece, she said that she would ask then came out and said that I couldn’t get one. I’m sorry but I’m not paying for a full dinner when a piece got dropped on the floor. Then I got the bill and I was charged for gravy that I didn’t even get. I hate leaving bad reviews but I did not have a good experience tonight

Pickeral was very good. Fish tacos had the same build that you would expect with beef tacos. Sour cream on a fish taco is odd. I would definitely recommend a more Pico de Gayo style. Our waitress seemed a bit flustered to start off the visit. Very nice location. A little more attention to the menu and id rate much higher. Cheers.
