Stopped here on a whim and couldn't be more happy I did. The food was great and not expensive for what we got and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I'll be going back

Went to this place for brunch because we thought it would be a nice place. While entering the establishment, it took them 5 minutes to seat us, when it wasn’t even that busy.

Upon being seated, we only received coffee and no water, which for a brunch place you would think this would come standard or at least ask you.

I asked for the steak and eggs and my fiancée asked the country style
Breakfast. The photo of the steak looks completely different as to what I received. My fiancée had hers come out first and 2 minutes later I received my food and the steak was cold. If you’re going to advertise yourself as a grill and bar and specialize in steaks, please do better, this is embarrassing. Also, they serve table syrup, not maple syrup. Not acceptable, especially since we are in Canada. How can you serve that when we have ample supply of maple syrup in the great white North?

We were never asked how our food was or if we needed anything else. When we did finish our food, nobody came to see us for 25 minutes. Another server had to take our plates and asked us if we wanted the bill.

Never going back, do better.

Went there as a group. Smelled like sewer waste the moment we walked in. Pretty expensive but figured we’d splurge. Got the surf and turf. Lobster tails were actually bitter and the butter to dip smelled expired. The steak wasn’t great, it tasted like wherever it was cooked on isn’t cleaned well as it tasted very burnt on the outside. It was cooked exactly how asked though mid rare. The rice was greasy but had good flavour, not sure why they just kinda throw some whole potatoes on the plate though, it’s a very dated practice. Whole place including the uniforms make me think of the 80s/90s. My meal was like 60 bucks rather outrageous for what you get, smelly gross restaurant and nasty food would not recommend. Wife and I also felt sick after eating here.

We meet at Stephanie’s Grill and Bar for lunch two to three times a year, as it's conveniently located halfway for all of us. We genuinely want to enjoy the food, but it has been a struggle, especially in the last year.

On our most recent visit, we ordered club sandwiches, hoping that such a classic would be a safe choice. Unfortunately, they arrived stone cold, and the coleslaw was soggy.

We really want to keep returning, as the location is perfect for our family gatherings, but we’re left wondering what to order that they do well. If anyone has recommendations for dishes that consistently impress, we would greatly appreciate your input!

Was with a work gathering here today. Some of the food looked good. I ordered the club. They should remove it from the menu. The meat was dry. It was put together horribly, and to my surprise, they don’t put mayo or anything on it. They give packets of mayo on the side, so you have to take the sandwich apart to put on the mayo. I’ve NEVER seen that before. Just remove the club from your menu. I gave 3 stars because of our server, who was very efficient.

Classic, comfortable and cozy family restaurant. Friendly staff. Enjoyed sitting near the fireplace.
