Thai Express Restaurant Hawkesbury

Just in the past couple months the taste of the food went down significantly. Pad Thai has no flavour the Tum yum soup taste watery. No lime no garnish on anything. It’s to bad.

They always close earlier than posted business hours, even on fridays. They often open late as well. The worker sent me away without explanation. Also I’m always rushed by the staff and they don’t speak barely any English so it’s next to impossible to properly communicate. Extremely disappointed. Also they are no longer on the Uber Eats app. Just rediculous.

I thought i would try out the thai express here in hawkesbury as I eat it every other day in ottawa. The portions here are strangely smaller co.pared to ottawa locations no mater the size you get. It seems the owners are trying to maximize profits everywhere they can. There arr no condiments such as the sauces or toppings like the limes and penuts were no where to be seen.

Seems they close at 8:30 on Saturday. Sign said open and the door was open but staff told me they’re closed 🤷

Flavourless, bland. Ordered siracha chicken and there was no spice, no heat. They were indifferent to my patronage and the food was no better. Go to A&W next door.

Lot's of rice,not much chicken,for the price $$$ not the best. It was hot and o.k tasting atleast,nothing special! Good for a fast-food..

Mistake on my order

You had 2 mini tom yum soups (1 chicken, 1 shrimp) and 1 large tom yum (shrimp) to prepare. I got a small tum yum with no meat at all and the large tom yum soup had chicken instead of shrimp. The noodles were not well cooked as they normally are. The service and the quality at the Hawkesbury location has gone out the window.

How to say... disgusting in every language on the planet? The Express rating is undeniable, 30 seconds to make a dish, but at what price does it cost to speed up a dish so that it has the most disgusting taste of all the Asian meals I have ever eaten in my life (if these are not the two meals close to being the most infected that I have eaten in my life: one dish was a bowl filled with lettuce bathed in a very thick sauce which was probably not peanut sauce like I know it in Thai Viet restaurants etc. 15$ to eat a bowl of lettuce with thick sauce that ruins your intestines I would honestly have preferred ramen dishes boiled with water for 1$ at Wallmart or some? Dollarama x

The second dish was pad thai…. What can I say, it tasted like jam because they added tamarind sauce. I have never eaten pad thai so incomprehensibly horrible in terms of taste disgust.

So a piece of advice, unless you are one of the people who like terrible food and know nothing about Asian gastronomy, buy yourself a pack of ramen at Dollarama, you will thank me one day!
