Great little variety store where you can oops in and grab a bite to eat. Had the breakfast special at lunch and it really hit the spot.
Subs here are great too!

Very enjoyable down-to-earth nostalgica place to go and enjoy a breakfast. Prices are also very reasonable.

Nestled in the Southeast corner of Chatham-Kent near Exit 117 Exit of Highway 401 is the community of Highgate.

GraveDiggerz’ Restaurant & Variety Store is reminiscent of Molly’s Reach Restaurant featured in the 374 episodes of The Beachcombers. If you’re lucky during the course of your meal, you’ll get the opportunity to converse with a great cast of local characters that frequently drop-by for a cup of coffee, learning about the local history including the discovery of Dinosaur Bones!

When Molly’s namesake isn’t being interrupted by the visiting variety store crowd, she’s providing a great selection of food fare….. Tombstone Burgers with sauteed mushrooms, bacon, Swiss cheese, while the names of other servings include: The Headstone, Krypt Keeper, Mummies Monster Breakfast and White Milk. Daily Homemade Soup, Chili & Toast and for Dessert Pie à la Mode!

Other local features include: The Mary Webb Venue Centre & Art Gallery, Blacksmith & Tin Shop with Christmas Tree Farm {Open on seasonal weekends, mainly from late November – last weekend before X-Mas}, Highgate Tender Meats Butcher and Highgate’s nostalgic full-size static set, referred to as the Supertest Retro Gasoline Station.

IF the hours are different in the restaurant than the store, then they need to specify! Biked from Ridgetown to find the restaurant was "closed" , and it was only 1:15pm! Couldn't even get something to go! Very disappointing!

Nice cozy hole in the wall, family restaurant. Good food, lots of neat funny quotes on the wall . Good size menu plus all-day breakfast if needs be definitely
