Tasty Treats and Great Ambiance, but Service Could Improve
During our trip to Barrie, my friends and I stopped by BeaverTails in Huntsville for a quick treat, and the food did not disappoint! The BeaverTails were absolutely delicious, and the ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy.
However, the customer service fell a bit short of expectations. While the food and atmosphere were fantastic, the service could definitely be improved to match the overall experience. Still, if you’re in Huntsville, it’s worth a visit for the delicious treats!

Got sent away at 9:30 tonight (Saturday), posted hours suggest they don’t close until 10pm. Sign says that they were open, folks still dining in, sign outside, lights on, and plenty staff. Was looking forward to having one all day.

We came for an evening treat around 6:30pm. When we entered the staff member was washing dishes within eyeshot but didn’t acknowledge us or come over to take our order for close to 10 minutes.
When he did his hands were still dripping with dirty dish water that he hadn’t dried off. We said what we wanted and paid and sat off to the side to wait for our food. While watching the young man make our food we noted he didn’t wash his hands and didn't wear gloves while he handled our food.
It was at this time we noticed how dirty and smelly this establishment was. There were crumbs and sticky surfaces on almost all the tables. There was garbage on the floors and when we were called to come grab our order we saw the stand he put our food on was also caked with old sticky food from previous orders.
The BeaverTail itself was amazing, they’re always delicious and our order was made fresh. We did choose to sit outside to eat across the street because of the lack of cleanliness.
