ordered takeout here on a Friday night. the fastest turn around of order time in a long time. was pleasantly surprised by that. received our food, hot and fresh. we were quite happy and we will return.

I have been 3 times now since moving here. Wanted to make sure the consistency was there before reviewing as there are a number of bad reviews. We have been very pleased with china house each time we have been. The food is quite good on par with most chineese food places. The prices are very fair and the serive is always good. I would recommend them. Be your own judge and give them a try well worth it.

We moved to Huntsville recently and despite the bad reviews we have given this establishment a chance to impress us. The first time we ordered it was honestly great, didn't really have any complaints, it's good Chinese food! We ordered for the second time last night and the reason I'm writing this review is because we're so impressed! They prepared us an excellent meal. The chicken balls especially were perfect. Crispy and moist. Everything else was also way better than the last time, they really improved even though it was already great! We will continue to order take out from the China House.

I have ordered from China House and have enjoyed it in the past. Unfortunately tonight, I’ve had an unpleasant experience. I placed an order for pickup for 5pm. I showed up at 4:55 to pay for my order. There were 5 other people waiting for their orders for 5pm. My order was not ready until 5:26. I have had this happen before in the past and have been patient because of the limited staff they have working as well as I had ordered over $100 worth of food. I live 25 minutes drive away from China House, so between travel there and back and waiting for my food I was done driving. When I got home and unpacked my order, I was missing my sweet and sour chicken balls, which has happened in the past. I called many times, as the phone was busy. Finally when I got through, I spoke with them. They were aware of my missing chicken balls and told me to pick them up at 7pm. I told them that I couldn’t do that considering I live out of town and the amount of time it takes me. They asked me to have someone else pick it up and again I told them this could not happen and I didn’t want them at 7pm at night. I asked if there could be another way like a credit to my phone number I was told they could not do this and they were sorry and good night….. I would not have made a review with all of the previous experiences with them today UNTIL I was told they couldn’t do that and did not try to help me further.

We ordered for NYE and the food was decent but we did not get any sauces other than the red sauce with our chicken balls. No soy sauce or plum sauce and we ordered two rice dishes and spring rolls. Usually the bottom of the bag is full of sauce packets. We also didn’t get any fortune cookies.

Read reviews about them never being on time - this was very accurate. Ordered Food for 5pm pick up, showed up at 5:15 and still waited 5 mins for Food to come out. There were also 2 other people waiting for Food as well, not sure what time their pick up was for though. So defiantly plan to be late. Food was ok, have had better chinese Food, pork rice was not good at all, should have had the chicken rice. Beef and mushrooms there were double the mushrooms compared to beef (defiantly chinsed out on beef) general tao chicken was good. Price was average We won't be going back though.

The General Tso’s Chicken was nothing but fried dough, and the beef was overly salty! Very disappointing.

We used to eat here all the time. It was a small buffet, but the food variety was adaquate and very tastey. Now only take out, but food is still verry good, and very well priced.
Joanna was the sweetest person ever! We got the Combo 4 Plate, only $15 and enough food to feed 2 ppl and so much variety: Shrimp balls, egg roll, pork fried rice, pork ribs and chicken chop suey!! I eat rice every night and I STILL THINK THEIR RICE WAS THE BEST and they chop suey was delicious. Chicken was gooood. Great spot, lots of parking, take out only rn. Recommend!

I thought I would give this place a try and it was pretty good. The staff were friendly and efficient. I think people are too critical nowadays, hence the negative reviews. I'm wishing this restaurant great success! We need more like these in Huntsville.

Got take out today for my son’s birthday and the food was delicious, best lo mein of all Chinese restaurants and all other 6 dishes were delicious. Order was ready when we arrived. Don’t understand the negative reviews.

This restaurant is closed despite all the internet saying they are open. Drove there from out of town last night but they are closed except for take out. I must add that the front of this shop is dirty and the windows filled with garbage. That is how little they care about their shop and I expect the same lack of attention to their food.
