The food was delicious, best dessert I've ever had Trust me on the brownie with English cream! 😋
The buffet had such a great selection. No disappointments at Deerhurst! Always exceeds expectations. Staff is very friendly, they're the best!
We were here 3 years ago (almost to the day as we came for our honey moon). It used to be a sit down restaurant with amazing food. The new ownership has changed it to a buffet which honestly wasn’t great. Some of the food was good but a bunch was cold. Gluten free items were labeled which was helpful. Service was very good and they were helpful with my allergy. Having experienced it before though we were very disappointed into what it is now.

Food is barely acceptable. For $70/person, there are only two items are good: the salmon and revioli. The beef, the pork and turkey are all dry and tasted dull. Apple pie is extremely sweet.
Service is also terrible. We finished a round of food before anyone provided service for drink and we were almost done when the drinks were actually served. Dirty dishes were kept on the table until we went to get dessert.
Totally not worth the money.

We went for the Saturday night buffet and there was quite a nice selection. However, the food was barely warm. I realize sometimes it's difficult to keep food hot at a buffet but it was disappointing. The dessert table was good.
We had reservations for an event but waited almost 2 hours for part of our appetizer to come out so we didn't stay to continue to wait for the rest. It was unfortunate the facility wasn't more prepared for the event being hosted and communication was poor.
Overpriced buffet at $45 pp for the selection offered. Plate warmers were not working, some of the food was only warm and we ordered decaf coffee that was delivered farr from hot. Carrot cake was stale as well. Staff were friendly though.
Kind staff. With such a high ticket price on this resort, I would expect some investment in the only place to eat (besides antler) on a Sunday night. It's so easy to make this place a winner. Truly is incumbent on you to do better when it comes to the options, service and quality of food. Staff is kind and clearly have to be apologetic about everything and it's not them. My $18 Caesar salad was for sure 3 leaves of a romaine lettuce heart. I won't get into the rest.
I had one of the best omlets today by chef Ayvir (AR) and the food was amazing but a bit expensive and our server rup was amazing

The food was mediocre. Nothing like the quality you'd expect at the price per person. There wasn't a huge selection, the kids section and desserts were better than the regular food. Bbq skewers were overcooked and dry. Salad bar was good, but the price is not commensurate with quality. It is also incredibly loud as the buffet set up is right in the seating area
Went for the sole purpose that they were serving muscles. Waited 30 minutes for the muscles to be replenished when I first got there. Once they put out fresh muscles we probably waited another 40 minutes for more. How do you advertise the dish as the main attraction and not have it available. The rest of the food was good. Desserts are average at best. Pretty sure the cupcakes came from Walmart. Not worth the money they are charging.

Food was not what was expected for almost 50 per person for the buffet. We felt it was not worth the cost.
The noise level in the new restaurant is an BIG issue ... it sounds like a cafeteria setting ... some where you have to put baffles either on the back wall or on that gorgeous ceiling, or hang them from the ceiling.
Casual elegance and a relaxing dinner. We don't always like to have noise and energy around us so the Eclipse is a welcomed reprieve during tourist season. It's wonderful that it is open to the public as well as to resort guests. The food is beautifully prepared, and you can try a spoonful of it all—beef, chicken or shrimp skewers, mussels, pasta, excellent Ceasar salad , squares and cookies for dessert. There is even a half-price children's selection table with pizza, chicken fingers etc. the serving staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Lovely.
