We had a delicious dinner, a lovely experience, and a fine waiter, friendly and helpful in JAKIT (I believe that was his name). The clam chowder was a stand out as was the gluten-free coconut dessert. Will be back.
First impressions are very important. We were greeted by a very soft spoken youngster (no more than 15) who led us to a table that was still wet from a recent cleaning and provided no instructions as to how to proceed. Food choices were adequate though I would have preferred an alternative to very mushy mashed potatoes. Our server was clearly overworked and could not command our full attention, failing to bring us more cutlery after taking away the first dish. I had to take a fresh set from another table. It seems that the younger staff does not demonstrate the same enthusiasm for their work as the staff I remember from many years ago.
Great and delicious breakfast options. Amazing view and very friendly staff! We will definitely come back!
Went there for their breakfast buffet. The omelette station was solid. Good restaurant with a good view.
Food, service and cleanliness was all excellent.
Seated by the beautiful views of the lake.
Food was ok. Service was good. For the price I would have thought there would be more selection. Felt it was way too expensive for what you got. Not worth it.
$50pp buffet is not worth it. Not many options and not good quality. Skip dinner buffet here.
In my opinion, $49.99 for a buffet dinner is very expensive. I've never been a fan of buffets. I like to order from a menu and have my food delivered hot to my table. Overall it was ok
We eat here whenever we are in the area, always good food and great atmosphere and location.
The taste of the buffet food was okay. The selection was also okay, but nothing was particularly hot. Service was okay. They didn't seem particularly organized for efficient/attentive service, considering it was a buffet and self-serve. It was fairly busy with a lot of families, so a little noisy. Overall, not the best, but not the worst experience. The restaurant has more of a casual cafeteria-like feel than that of a nice or romantic place for dinner. There was a sports game on the tv above the bar. We've been before and have better memories of our dining experience. Next time we will be making a different choice.

Salmon, pork loin and roast beef. The roast was excellent. Taste wise, spot on. My husband is very critical about food, and he was pleased. Overall... very happy.
We were hesitant about the buffet but I couldn't be happier to be so wrong. Cyndi was our server who made the evening perfect. Great service! Hot,delicious and fresh food! Jerk Chicken was a hit; great variety!
The buffet is worth the money..the variety and choices and quality of food available makes it worth it ..I usally avoid buffets because the quality isn't great .. not the case here.. fresh hot and lots of food . The service was good She also made sure we had coffe and water ..
Great choice for breakfast
Eclipse was always a nice place to eat and go for special occasions. I Last went for Easter brunch 2024. The tables had tableclothes, chairs were comfortable, padded with arms. I was there today for New year's day 2025 brunch. The furniture was all gone, cafeteria style tables and chairs. The food was no better, small selection, very little meat, a few salads and the desert table was awfull.
As to the atmosphere? If you like noisy, clanking of dishes you will be fine. For the price of close to $50 per person with tax and tips, go to McDonalds.
The food was delicious, best dessert I've ever had Trust me on the brownie with English cream! 😋
