The Family Place Restaurant and Pizza

Great family restaurant. First time visiting this place and it did not disappoint. Very friendly staff, food came out quick enough and tasted great. Got the breakfast here and it was very filling and tasty. Would definitely return if I'm ever back in Huntsville again.

We dropped in her for lunch. I ordered the chicken wrap with a soup $19 and my husband ordered the chicken tenders and the cream of broccoli soup $17. The food was delicious. The wait time wasn’t long. The server was friendly. The only thing i didn’t like was the wooden benches. They were not that comfortable,

Really disappointed. I was hoping for a reasonably priced lunch with my wife but was shocked by how expensive everything was. A plain hamburger was $14—with no sides included. A small, underwhelming BLT sandwich was $10.50, also without sides. Nothing about the food stood out, yet our basic lunch came to nearly $40. I won’t post more photos, but here’s one of the overpriced BLT as an example. Save yourself the disappointment.

At the best a 3 star restaurant with 5 star prices, they don't know how to fry an egg without runny whites, when I returned the meal, it came back after my family had finished theirs and now my bacon, home fries and toast was cold. Lots of other restaurants in town I would recommend.

I would like to start off saying, amazing place to eat. I walked in today and asked the waitress to ask the chef cooking to make me something that she would make herself at the restaurant. The plate she brought me was amazing. Egg white omelet with peppers and bacon and great seasoning. I even tried gluten free bread to go with the order. So today I would love to thank the amazing female chef that was working today and made my most favourite dish at family place now. And the staff is always great. Keep being one of the best thing in Huntsville to eat at.

Although the atmosphere of a traditional family dinner was upheld, the menu, food, and lack of service was awful. The server gave the appearance of being overwhelmed or perhaps overworked, and the food had a similar taste.

Celiac safe. Has gluten free bread and they even have a separate toaster for gluten free bread. For the home fries they did it in a separate pan. Really appreciate all the accommodating staff did for me. Food was also amazing!

We’re bunch of friends travelling from Toronto & stopped by for this restaurant. Food is really great, specially their Fish & Chips are too good. We’ll visit this place next time too.

Food was homemade and full of flavour, service excellent and helped us narrow down our menu choices since everything looked amazing. Great value and many healthy choices as well. We enjoyed our dinner and will be returning in the morning for breakfast before heading back home.

The food is pretty good, sandwiches and wraps are on the dryer side but it's a nice spot for a lunch date!
