I can’t believe we found this small hidden crêperie in Deerhurst! The crepes are truly fantastic (I had one simple sugar crepe and one Freshie crepe with chicken - both excellent), and their pastries are also great and very fresh. I also had their lavender lemonade which was perfectly not too sweet. It’s so peaceful on a nice terrace right by the lake. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Frenchie’s was absolutely amazing. We have been to Deerhurst many, many times, but this was actually the very first time we went to the crêperie. Our love affair with this extraordinary place started on Saturday afternoon when we decided to go there for a sweet treat for teatime. Mom got Monkey Around, and I decided on Monster Moose. Because we chose to remove the bananas from both crêpes, the owner problem solved and thought of a way to make it equitable since we were removing an ingredient. She didn’t feel it was right to charge us the same amount if the bananas were being removed. This really caught my attention, because restaurants normally do this. For mine, she offered to add vanilla ice cream with extra chocolate sauce to make up for it. She topped off our crêpes with whipped cream as well.
That was just the customer service. The crêpes themselves were absolutely delectable. The proportions of all ingredients were absolutely perfect, and the crêpes were phenomenal. We learned that they were made from scratch by the co-owner who learned his craft in France. This started a lovely conversation about France and the boulangeries there.
The next morning, we woke up early to grab breakfast at the crêperie. The owner had told us about freshly baked croissants with almond cream inside, and we were absolutely sold. We ended up buying a box of six chocolate almond croissants to take back home with us and had two savory egg crêpes for breakfast. My only regret, and this was completely on me, was asking for Sunnyside up instead of over easy eggs. For my own personal tastes, the over easy would have gone over well for my own palate. However, the combination of balsamic vinegar, arugula, feta, and pesto was absolutely brilliant.
On our way out of Deerhurst, as a storm was rolling in, we ran by the crêperie to pick up one last croissant for a neighbor back in Toronto. Although they were desperately cleaning up and closing up, the owner graciously took my order just as a huge crack of lightning descended upon the resort.
All in all, I cannot recommend this establishment more. It is an absolute must for anyone visiting Deerhurst or even passing by the resort. The food is amazing and the customer service is absolutely out of this world. The graciousness, joy, and interest in serving their customers is palpable. I am so happy to have found this absolute gem. The next time you go there, or if you go there for the very first time, please have an extra croissant for me!
Thank you Frenchie’s! See you in the summer.

What a great place. Visiting Canada coming from the Netherlands, this was one of the culinary highlights. Lovely crepes and also had a great coffee! The couple running the shop are extremely kind and it was a great pleasure to sit and relax next to the lake. With him having 15 years of experience as a baker from France, you taste the real deal!! When you are doubting: go!

Vegetarian options: Many veggie options available

What a friendly and nice owner. Despite the queues of people, she still made time for small talk with the customers and didn't seem stressed.

The crepe and coffee were delicious. Highly recommended in a lovely location.

Cutest creperie I’ve ever been to! Was traveling through the area and searching for gluten free food when I stumbled on this gem. I would travel back to the area just for this food truck

My wife and I had breakfast here on our last day at deerhurst and it was underwhelming based off the 4.9 star review…. I would recommend sticking with the “sweet” over the “savoury” because to me the crepe itself had zero flavour/seasoning for the western style… it was actually pretty bad. My wife enjoyed hers, but it was the “sweet” side and had lots of fruits. However this place is really over priced for what you get… be ready to spend over $15 for 1 crepe…. The outdoor seating/patio was really nice over looking the lake, but I just couldn’t get over how bad my crepe was….
