Lyn was so delightful to work with. We ordered very late for our occasion, but despite her busy schedule, Lyn managed to fit us in and make a lovely cake. It was absolutely delicious. We can’t wait to order again.

Absolutely delicious!Ordered 2 x dozen cupcakes for my cousins 40th Hawaiian themed birthday and they were incredible! Lynda was so helpful and went above and beyond at very short notice.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to purchase a cake from Granny Lyn due to price gouging. We were quoted 350$ in Janurary, only for the price to increase 4 months later in the same year, when we were provided the final quote of 682$ - with no changes made to our order. With our wedding being 4 months from when the final quote was given; we have been unable to find another baker. We are disheartened and wish we would have been given more honesty in the beginning.

Lynda made a cake for my grandads birthday during a weekend away in Huntsville and it was a huge hit!!! It looked beautiful and it tasted sooo good!! We will definitely be getting more cakes in future! Thank you Lynda!

I found Lyn on Facebook, as I was needing a special birthday cake for my wife. Right from the very start I knew this was the person for the job. We had the cake last night, and let me tell you, it was the BEST cake we have had. Incredible piece of art in her baking, and will be supporting her business most definitely in the future. Lynda's baking is amazing! We hired her back in March 2019, long before our wedding day in October 2020. We wanted to treat our guests to delicious cupcakes, and we knew from the moment we did our tasting that Lynda would make exactly that! Her work is beautiful and her pricing is very reasonable. She is incredibly kind and creative, and listened to our ideas to help us come up with the perfect cupcakes for our big day.Of course, COVID-19 had other ideas for 2020 brides and grooms, so we had to pivot our plans! Lynda was willing to work with us through all the uncertainty of the pandemic, responding to our questions and being flexible as we went through our options – something we sincerely appreciated!! It's been a very tough year, but Lynda absolutely came through for us despite the challenges this year has brought. We decided to do a downsized, smaller wedding and Lynda was totally on board. She adjusted our order to fit our now smaller guest list, and also baked a few gluten free cupcakes for my mother to eat. When we decided to package our cupcakes in individual boxes to give them to our guests safely, Lynda went above and beyond to ensure the boxes arrived in time for our big day. She delivered the cupcakes on time on our wedding day, just as we had arranged. They were absolutely delicious and received lots of compliments from our guests! Lynda is very personable and it felt like working with a friend.We are so happy that we chose Lynda and Granny Lyn's Kitchen to bake cupcakes for our big day and would highly recommend her to others for their events – or just if they're hungry!!
