This place was absolutely wonderful! Exceeded our expectations. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, service was second to none, food was prepared fast and fresh and looked and tasted amazing! The crispy crunch roll, potato crunch roll, green dragon and lobster roll were our absolute favourites! The miso soup was delightful as well. We could not have been happier with our stay, we will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!! Thank you for your hospitality!

I have enjoyed sushi at many establishments on the west coast and also here in Ontario. Although the ingredients appear to be fresh the sushi rolls are 2/3 the size that I have received for the same price. The chicken teriyaki left something to be desired. Just small chunks of bland chicken with a slight glaze and a cup of white rice 22.00dollars. Where is the vegetables that belong to the teriyaki dish? Disappointed.

Previously located on Main Street, Mottbora relocated beside Henrietta's Pine Bakery. I was initially reluctant to try sushi in Huntsville after having had some great sushi elsewhere. The good reviews piqued my curiosity. Currently they only offer takeout. You step just inside their entryway to order. There is hand sanitizer available. The staff also sanitize the POS system before and after customer use. We ordered the sashimi special ($35) and potato crunch roll. The sashimi was surprisingly very fresh. It came with 3 pieces of tuna, 3 pieces of white tuna, 3 pieces of salmon, and 2 pieces of hamachi. The white tuna was still quite icy when we bit into it. The potato crunch roll was a bit heavier but flavourful, with the fried potato coating and a generous amount of (mildly) spicy sauce. I enjoyed the textural contrast that the fried potato coating imparted. Pricier than some other sushi places I’ve eaten at but definitely worth eating here if you’re craving good sushi in Muskoka.

My partner and I order from this restuarant at least once every few months to get our sushi fix. Their sushi is made fresh, presented in the most visually appealing fashion, and in good quantity. Price is on par with what you would pay at similar sushi establishments in the city (yeay! No muskoka prices here!) I have never had anything I didnt like, and honestly Ive really expanded my sushi horizons because of this place. I highly reccomend this place to all my friends/coworkers/and anyone who listens to me talk about sushi lol. Enjoy! PS pot shop opened next door at new location. Order your sushi, go grab your bud, then pick up, head home and have a great night!!!

We recently ordered take out from here. Excellent service, order was correct. When we got home the food itself was ok. I had chicken teriyaki , dry and chewy. Our sushi was fresh but small and quite expensive comparatively from restaurants where we eat at with this type of food

Enjoyed our selection of food but very concerned to cross contamination In the takeaway trays. Upon washing up the black take out trays- I noticed there were two stuck together. When I separated then - the second one had clearly been used prior to my order. It was covered with food and oil. When I called to express my feedback in covid safety in food - they said they didn’t care. So stay save everyone and careful who you order take out from. Wont be purchasing from then again
We were disappointed. We had combination bento box. Portions were on the small side and price was high for what we got. Some pieces of sushi and rice were not very fresh. Staff was pleasant.

To be honest I came with very low expectations. Wrong move! This place delivered all around. Great location, warm ambiance. Clean! Great staff and amazing variety of sushi and other items. Everything was perfect! My friend and I ordered mainly sushi and we where blown away by the artful presentation and total flavour explosions. Can’t wait to be back
