Lovely experience today with the only employee working today. Nov 2/25. She seemed occupied on her phone as I was waiting to order. Eventually placed my order and when I asked for pepper she went for green pepper I said sorry no , black pepper. She must of shaken half the container on my sub. Barely see the food beneath the black pepper. Once I bit into it with my group I had to spit it all out. I stop at that Esso 3-4 times a week for work. I will never grab a sub from there again. Clearly her horrible attitude came from being interrupted from her cell phone usage while customers are waiting.

When ordering my sub I forgot the name of the bread I like, in which i said “I think its called Italian herb” he responded quite loud with a aggressive tone and said “yeah which one”. He than proceeded to look at me and roll his eyes!! He tryed to act enthusiastic but it was quite aggressive and fast. Cant cover up anger with a smile. If you are that upset when someone comes in and is ordering at your job, please get a different one. Wrecked my day.

The location is great for a stop for food and gas on the way to the lake for the day. The arrogant young boy working behind the counter on Tuesday August 5th around 3:30pm was smug and rude. He did not like the fact that I asked for regular cheese and was referring to the white cheese and he corrected me and he said “actually now more people use the cheddar cheese” I said “ummm okay but I want the regular white cheese” he then said “okay but that’s not the regular cheese”. WHAT?!? he indeed was dead serious and had an attitude over cheese……. It was really important to him that he was right. Laughable behavior. Also, the bread was stale. The staff did not look happy at all. Not a single person smiled. The store staff was much friendlier and A&W had great service!

Best Subway in Huntsville! I order lunch here 3+ times a week, whether in-person or with the app, my order is always ready on-time, accurate and delicious! I was saddened to see recent negative reviews (likely all from the same group that was asked to remove their food purchased elsewhere). The lady that manages the store is always so happy, bubbly and welcoming. Keep up the great work!

RACIST + bad management!! I've read the other reviews and this location is not friendly towards other cultures and ethnicities.
My friends and I bought food from subway but two of them had a&w. The manager told us 'no foreign food allowed' even though 6 of the 8 of us bought subway. The wording is also a little weird considering most of us were clearly asian....we all walked out.

We stopped here going through Huntsville and ordered 2 6” and 1 foot long. I couldn’t believe the bread was hard! So stale that at first I thought they toasted mine but each sub was like that. All four of us eating couldn’t finish our subs we were too disgusted. Store was dirty but staff was friendly that’s why I gave them one star.

We are 13 people and we ordered 4 subway initially and we were about to order more as we are waiting for our friends to come at store but the lady said we can not accupied 2 table as we did not order more food. That is ridiculous. It seems like there are some kind of racism going on.
We just left the place and order subway nearby in same time. I do not recommend this place at all to anyone.

We went on camping and want to take subway on the way.. and we went in but was waiting for our friends to join. But the staff is so miserable that she told we cannot stay in the subway as we are 13 people and occupied the lobby. We were ordering 7 subway to go. But she is racist and try to kick us out because we were waiting for friend. Do not try this subway we went nearby and the staff was welcoming.
