I made the mistake of ordering the “colossal” shrimp as an accompaniment to the risotto. I asked the server and was told that it was 2 shrimp for $16 and they were “ as big as we can get”. An attempt was made to butterfly them to make them look bigger but these were very regular size shrimp. It was a colossal ripoff. We won’t be back. Try the seafood risotto at Portuguese House. Chock full of seafood and risotto. No comparison.
A favorite has great food and always changing menu. The owners are passionate about their food and it shows in the great selection and taste. Never had a bad meal. Love the fact that the owner typically checks on all the guests to ensure the high quality of their food. Highly recommend it and if you get a chance thier gazebos are a great way to enjoy your meal with the great outdoors

If you are visiting the Huntsville area, a stop at Tall Trees is a must! My wife and I rented a Chalet for dinner. The first snow fall was a nice
Added touch to watch in front of the wood stove. The atmosphere was very peaceful and the music playing in the background was a lovely touch. Dora was our server for the evening she was very knowledgeable when it came to the dishes any questions we ask she was able to answer. We ended up choosing the 3 course options. It was nice that there were options to upgrade your soup and dessert. All 3 courses were absolutely spectacular. We enjoyed the feeling of not being rushed the small breaks in between courses was great! This experience was one of the best dining experiences we have had. Thank you to the owners, Dora and the chefs!

Thoroughly enjoyed my birthday dinner 😊. The chalet was a welcomed and cool surprise. The Bao was tender, sweet, and tasty. The presentation and taste of the salmon entree was great - the carrots were incredibly tasty! The deep fried butter tart blew us away and was an incredible combo with their ice cream. Most importantly, Jay's service was exceptional and very friendly, and even the owner was kind enough to drop in and check on us, which was really appreciated. Our heartfelt thanks to Jay and the staff for helping us have a very memorable dinner, we'll be back!

Came here for late Saturday lunch. Not especially Hungary, so we got three app items to split between the two of us. The scallops are really well done and Caesar salad fresh and cripy. The chef was nice and always checks on us throughout the dining experience. We got butter tart and tiramisu crème Brulee to finish off the lunch, and both desserts are to die for. Will totally go back and enjoy some nice apps and wine.

My boyfriend and I were camping in Arrowhead Provincial Park this past week and to celebrate my 40th birthday, chose to dine at Tall Trees Muskoka on Wednesday, October 16th. We had reserved one of the outdoor cabins for a unique dining experience. This place was absolutely perfect in every way. The little cabins offer a private and cozy dining setting. We were there from 5:30 to 7:15 ish and enjoyed the view of the colorful trees and sunset in front of us. Our waitress, Dora, made our experience there so special. Her warm smile, upbeat and cheerful ways made us feel like we'd known her our whole lives. She was on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of. There was a little fireplace in the cabin that kept us warm and blankets hanging should we need extra warmth. Dora would come at exactly the right times to check on us throughout the evening. My boyfriend ordered a seafood dish and I, the salmon. The food was incredible. Made to perfection. We savored each bite and sip, as wonderful jazzy music played inside the cabin. For dessert, they added a little merengue design to my plate and torched it in front of me to reveal merengue balloons. It also had a little candle in a strawberry. It was a nice surprise and made me feel special and smile from ear to ear. Dora answered every question we threw her way in a friendly and kind manner. We will definitely be making this a yearly tradition. Highly recommend this place for any occasion. 10/10 👌

So my hubby and I are dairy intolerant so I feel like we cut them off at the knees as far as options. But what we had was pretty good. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was cozy.

First time visiting this restaurant. Not impressed overall.
Food: short rib was good, soup and bread was excellent. Turkey was terrible and discusting. 3/5
Vibe: The decor was cozy and nice. The chairs are plastic patio chairs. Not very comfortable. 4/5
Price: Overpriced. $75 for the 4 course meal. Wanted to charge us $2 for each extra bread where other restaurants would provide for free and after charging us $75 for the meal. Not worth it. 3/5
Service: Made reservation in advance. Never told us that it was gonna be a fixed menu of $75 until we arrived. We might have made a different choice if we knew. Sat us next to a fireplace, so it felt like we were eating in a sauna. 3/5.
The experience does not match the price they charge. The value is simply not there. Would likely not visit again.
