We have enjoyed huntsville for many years having a family cottage 1/2 hour north of town. Over decades most trips to town would be pub food, familiar chains, but not finer dining experiences so much. We recently purchased our dream retirement home in Huntsville and decided it was time to familiarize ourselves with local dining options. Kaboom!! Tonight’s amazing dining experience has set a very high water mark. Honestly the best caesar salad my spouse and I have been presented with at any restaurant ever!! And the indulgence just continued!! I savoured blacked salmon and my spouse the boneless short rib. Everything flavourful, unique and beautifully presented. Desert…once again an out of the park sensation, best crème brule ever!! Prompt service, utmost attention and courtesy, checked on by multiple staff, just an overall “wow” experience. Excited and thrilled to be able to share such a wonderful dining establishment for many years to come with visiting family and friends. Well done Tall Trees. We cannot wait to return Steve n Liz

We literally had the best meal of our lives tonight and the evening could not have been more perfect. Fabulous wine, incredible ambiance in a winter gazebo, complete with comfy muskoka chairs, blankets and a wood burning fireplace. The salmon was absolutely divine and my husband's steak was perfect. This restaurant is an absolute MUST if you are in Huntsville.

My wife and I had dinner in one of their cozy chalets last night. We can honestly say this was the best dinner that we have ever had! The prime rib dinner was better than perfect, and the atmosphere was beyond welcoming. With owners working hard to greet guests, shovel walkways, and stoke the woodstoves, it's no wonder that all of the staff were so incredible and enthusiastic. If there is anything to improve upon, we sure didn't find it.

Tall Trees is a beautiful place with delicious food and a great ambience. Although slightly on the pricey side, the experience overall could have easily been a 5-star one for me.
What disappointed us, especially since it was our first visit and also our anniversary, was the behaviour of the server. She seemed uninterested in explaining the menu and even made faces after receiving the tip, which felt quite off-putting.
For a place with such a lovely setting, I expected a bit more warmth from the service.

We had a beautiful dinner. An anniversary dinner and ate in one of the chalets (so cozy)! The service was impeccable. Amanda was a great server. The food was amazing. I would highly recommend eating here. Will be back!

So glad a coworker recommended Tall Trees. We were a party of 12 and the every corner of the restaurant was packed so it was definitely a full house. Good service and the owner was friendly. The food was beautifully presented and was just as delicious as it looked. Signature seared scallops with house made bacon jam, wedge Caesar salad, creamy Tuscan bucatini and a butter tart for something sweet. Great way to end a memorable weekend. Tall Trees did not disappoint.

We had the best birthday dinner for my mom tonight at Tall Trees! We had it in one of the little cabins and it felt so special and cozy. The food was fabulous - highlights included the focaccia, the scallops, blackened salmon and butter tart. It’s so nice to have this restaurant in Muskoka as locals - it felt like a little vacay away from it all. The staff were wonderful - specifically our server and the hostess were so kind and attentive. Thank you 😊

We celebrated our 37 th wedding anniversary here and enjoyed dining in their private cabana with the warmth of the woodstove. Food was incredible, service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and perfect for an intimate dinner! Beautiful place , will definitely be back ☺️
