Love this place, makes me feel like im home having a pint, I just wish they had longer hours.

Came in for a beer, ended up having the rib and wing dinner special.
The ribs were dry and over seasoned.
Food was bland, and fries were not good at all.
Definitely 1st and last time here.
The server was polite.

Very expensive for what you get, food was OK, not 1 of the 4 in our party raved about the food. Too bad, as I was excited to go here(first & last timer). Decent craft beer selection, but not the be all & end all.

I just wish they'd sell the place and let new owners come in. Could be a great place - barely open anymore and owners need to move on

This place is absolutely disgusting. Owners were in their pyjamas ( which I find not professional at all) My friend had ordered their fish and chips, fries were sauggy and cold. Fish was frozen in the middle. We tried to speak with the waitress twice and she did not seem to care or do anything about the situation. We had asked if she told the kitchen and she said “not yet” after 20 minutes of us telling her. We then went to the owner and she got nasty and rude with us saying she cooked our food but really was sitting at the bar the whole time. They proceeded to charge full amount for the meal even though it was barely touched as it was so undercooked. Do not recommend..

A super short drive from London, and you get the best English Pub food this side of the Atlantic. And the chef’s revenge wing sauce is a real colon punisher ?: loved every minute of it.

The pulled pork was good, but the fries were cold. The shrimp and scallop dish was tasty and very hot, but perhaps overcooked because the shrimp and scallops were tough. Service was very good, as was the atmosphere. The music was not too loud because we could carry on a quiet conversation.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps to climb, so it is not a good place for wheelchairs.

My wife stopped in at the King Edward for take out. The food was great but their prices are obscene. 11.95 for 3 spring rolls?! I had to call to confirm; it's true. It is unfortunate that we will not be able to support a local pub when they have chosen to charge these prices.

Cozy pub in Ilderton with lots of menu selections. I was really impressed with the variety of wing sauces but the wings were quite small and the prices were quite steep considering. Still a nice place to grab a pint and some grub!
