This is real Thai food made right. The right spice, everything was top notch including the service, our server was so friendly and helpful, it was our first visit after wanting to come for a while and they didn’t disappoint at all. We will be back all the time now I’m sure.

Had dinner at Mango Salad during our stay at Elm Hurst Inn. The beef Pad See Ew was the best I've ever had. Our food came hot and fresh and the service was great. We would have visited again for lunch before leaving town, but unfortunately they did not open until the afternoon on that day.

The name is misleading as this is a great Thai restaurant - good location, selection, etc. Parking is a nightmare though as you are dependant on street parking in a major area. I highly recommend!!

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an incident that occurred during our visit to Mango Salad Restaurant on Saturday
We had a reservation for 5:00 p.m. and were enjoying our meal without issue. At approximately 5:50 p.m., just after we had been served our dessert (banana fritters), a staff member named Emily approached our table. About one minute after the dessert arrived, she informed us that the next reservation had arrived and that she would need our table as soon as possible.
I found this interaction to be extremely rude and inappropriate. At no point were we lingering excessively, nor had we finished our meal. We were still actively dining and had only just received dessert. Asking paying customers to vacate their table mid-meal because the next reservation has arrived is unacceptable.
I informed Emily that we would remain at the table until we finished our dinner and dessert. She responded by stating that she should not be spoken to in that manner. Quite frankly, I am unsure how else a customer is expected to respond when a server essentially attempts to remove them from the restaurant while they are still eating.
My understanding of proper restaurant etiquette is that if a reservation arrives early or tables are running behind, staff should address the waiting party—not interrupt current guests. A far more appropriate response would have been to inform the waiting reservation that their table would be available shortly and perhaps offer them a drink while they waited. Under no circumstances should a server approach a table and make guests feel rushed or unwelcome.
We have been loyal customers of Mango Salad Restaurant for the past five to six years and visit at least twice a month. In the past, we frequently ordered takeout, and more recently we have begun dining in regularly. This experience was disappointing and not reflective of the level of service we have come to expect.
I strongly believe that Emily’s behavior should be addressed, as it was unprofessional and disrespectful. No customer should ever feel as though they are being “kicked out” of a restaurant while they are still eating.
I hope management takes this matter seriously and ensures that staff are properly trained in handling reservations and guest interactions more appropriately in the future.
We sent an email on Saturday and as of this review nobody has responded

Clean, nice decor, and best of all food was fantastic. Glad we found this hidden gem.
Food is always amazing, good portions, reasonable pricing, and exceptional service. I want to try other menu items but can never change from our usual yellow curry with coconut rice, its just so good! We are 30min from Ingersoll but the food is definately worth the drive. Recommend making a reservation as they are always busy.
