Basically, whatever loot you find you have to "cash in" to turn it into permanent/persistent currency by turning it in at an outpost, and a lot of the 'piracy' part comes from the fact that loot is all physical items that exist in 3D space. Other crews can and will try to get your treasure sometimes, and if a ship with loot on it sinks, all the loot floats up and stays at the surface for a while to be collected.
Of course, often other players will be neutral, or friendly, or just sail away, or pretend to be friendly to sneak a gunpowder keg onto your ship. A lot of the fun comes from that. At its core it's just a way to pretend to be a pirate with all your friends.

The two girls that worked on January 28 were doing clothes went above and beyond the call of duty. I came in at 9:45 and they said they’d make whatever I needed. I have to say they made my evening. I hope I made theirs friendly outgoing, willing to please great job ladies can’t say anymore than that… customer service is still alive

We ordered 5 footlong subs and 1 wrap. We ordered online takeout and picked them up when they were ready. When the subs got home, my wife’s and daughter’s subs had no cheese on them when they both ordered double cheese. My wife called the store to let them know and they wanted us to bring the subs back so they could put cheese on them.(I’m not sure that is even up to health standards) We said no we were already out and had to pick up the order and asked if they could deliver two more subs and take these two back. They refused. Then she asked for a credit for the subs and they refused. She asked to talk to a manager and they said the manager wasn’t there. The next day I spoke to the manager and the owner, I showed them the pictures of the subs with no cheese on them and I was told by the owner that after reviewing the video, it shows that there was cheese on the subs. They offered $2 off our next purchase and I said no and we will not be back.

The girl working the sub counter tonight was so so rude & unprofessional. Rolled her eyes over every detail that she asked & I answered. Put raw bacon on our sub & then audibly snort/sighed when I said ‘ that needs to be cooked & id like fresh bread now that the raw meats been on it’ - we do not want to be fed food poisoning, thank you - also, I requested a light amount of mayo & she bathed the sandwich in it, I had to disassembled the sub at home and wash the produce. & remake it. Zero stars. Do not recommend. Will not be back.

The last 2 times we have ordered from here there is literally a single layer of toppings. Quality is going out the window. More sauce than vegetables is ridiculous. I guess Pita Pit will get our business moving forward.

People working last night was terrible my mother could hardly hear the workers their English isn't clear. I ordered a pizza sub melt and normally you put the sauce right after putting on the meat no she waited till the veggies thought that was weird. Then she hardly put any meat on mine and I asked for extra cheese she didn't wasn't impress they were super slow for people that possibly trying to go home since it was quarter to 10
