Unfortunately, despite seeing the bad reviews of this restaurant, I decided to take my partner out for dinner for his birthday.
The waitress had supposedly taken the order correctly. After bringing the appetizer, she brought the pizza (we ordered two main dishes) and the other main dish was missing, we decided to wait a while but the restaurant was almost closing, so I decided to ask the waitress about the other main dish and she responded saying she was very sorry but she had forgotten to order it and the kitchen had already closed.
For this reason my partner, who was the one being celebrated, did not receive his dinner.
I don’t recommend this place, bad service and they leave you without food.
Please read the reviews before visiting this restaurant.
Food was amazing, best calamari I’ve ever had. Gnocchi was amazing, you can tell it was made in house, delicious! The best part was the wonderful service by Mike, he made great suggestions on food and even helped pair the perfect wine! Highly recommend!!
Our first time there ...the server was so great very friendly and the food was great..will definitely be back and recommend
Hair found on the Caesar salad. Overpriced for what you get absolutely not worth it. Have been to many italian restaurants that were expensive but the food was worth it.
The Restaurant, food and service was very good.
But the price of $98 for a 14 ounce steak is outrageous. Usually when you have a daily special, the prices are a bit better or the same as on the menu. The waitress should have mentioned the outrageous price. There was nothing special about the steak, getting an answer like it depends from which cut it comes is BS. I was aware of higher prices which are on the menu card.
That’s flat out robbery. And the resort fee should not be paid by guests that are just there for a walk and something to eat.
Attended a birthday dinner for my Cousin last night, nice atmosphere and a limited menu. The
Waitress tells us the specials but doesn’t say the price, we paid $100 for a ribeye steak with oily vegetables. I didn’t see a Michelin Star on the front door. Food was mediocre and bland, six people
Cost us $1030 dollars, 3 steaks 3 pizzas and some booze. Not worth the money, you’re better off going to the Keg. My first and last time going to Avenue FH

Appetizers were ok. My main which was a steak was not the best. It was cooked well however the amount of garlic on this steak was ridiculous. My advice is to disclose that the steak is laoded with minced garlic, on the menu. The server asked how I was enjoying the food and I replied that i did notlike it because of the excessive garluc. They said sorry. Why ask if your only solution is sorry. Don't bother if you really don't care. Not going back.

Great place! Went a few months back and enjoyed everything we had for lunch. Tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had!

Made a reservation yesterday December 8th. Our server was very rude and seemed appalled when she came around for drinks that we just wanted water to start. (Two in our party don’t drink) Seemed like from that point on she treated us poorly very unpleasant and rude. Felt like she figured oh they didn’t order a drink not worth serving as she wouldn’t get a good tip as bill would be lower without alcohol. Could see her interactions with other tables seemed to be more pleasant perhaps cause they ordered drinks with their meals. Our two friends enjoyed their meals mine however was very bland could have prepared better pasta at home. Husbands was just ok.Overall was very unpleasant birthday dinner for my cousin. Would not go back again server was rude and not very pleasant …not the type of service we’d expect anywhere let alone here.
Dietary restrictions: Had gluten free pasta.

We had a wonderful experience visiting this restaurant on a winter weekend. We were lucky to get a table by the window, which allowed us to enjoy the view of the street Christmas installations. I ordered linguine with seafood, and it was absolutely perfect. My son had pizza, which he really enjoyed. For dessert, we had crème brûlée and ice cream — both were delicious. The food was outstanding, and the service was professional, friendly, and attentive. The only downside was that the bill came to just over $100 for two people, which is a bit pricey, but considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, it was definitely worth it. A great place to visit!

when eating at this restaurant you will pay a resort fee. I don't know how much is the resort fee but we were charged $7.79. I asked our server what's the resort fee for but either she ignored me or didn't hear me but either way I did not get an answer. Whatever you do, do not order spaghetti with meatballs, worst meatbaĺls I ever had Ikea would have been better

Best pizza place in Toronto! I can’t say enough good things about the quality of their food, service and atmosphere.
If it wasn’t that far from where we live, we’d be there weekly!

On our way to our cottage we decided to stop on Friday Harbour and decided to grab a quick snack on this place Avenue Cibi e Vini, also known as Avenue Friday Harbour. Worst decision ever, 6 hours later I ended with ACUTE BOWEL movements and very PAINFUL HEMORRHOIDS as a consequence. We only ordered 2 pizzas (I had the Pizza Avenue, with prosciutto), 2 sodas, and a Spicy Margarita for my wife, and ended with a 92.80 bill plus tip (yes, we tipped as prices are not on fault of the server). When tried to share the prosciutto with my kid she rejected it because it was "stinky". As strong smell is a characteristic of prosciutto I just thought she was just being picky. The whole cottage trip has become an endless seating in the toilet. Had my toddler eaten the prosciutto, most surely we would have ended in a visit to the ER.

Poor experience with this restaurant. We did a walk in and was told by the front desk that they had a table for 5. She agreed to hold it for us and gave the table away by mistake. We ended up waiting for another table and staff was very unapologetic about it. Terrible way to treat customers, especially if it’s their fault. Food was mid too.
