Expensive evening but food was very good .Ambiance and service was excellent!Food costs more expensive than other places .As a result will not be going back !

A place that positions itself as a seafood restaurant should have more seafood on its menu! If I wanted to eat rice, I would go to Asian restaurants.

Food not great and we were sick throughout the night. Server was not very pleasant. Portion size small.

Atmosphere and service was nice. Food was okay.. very very pricey for what you get. The octopus was super chewy and hard but had good flavour. The paella was okay but overly expensive for some rice with a bit of sausage, shrimp, and mussels… I wouldn’t come back.

One of my all time favourite restaurants. Staff is friendly (we brought our 1 yr old son) and food is amazing. Fish bone by the lake is always amazing.

A lovely high-end place right in the heart of Friday Harbour. Very kind, attentive staff, educational and fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommend the mussels (appetizer) and tuna (main). DELISH!

This place was absolutely amazing , our waiter went above and beyond . We celebrated our 30 anniversary they made it so special even gave us a champagne toast at first and a port at the end .Food was amazing !! Love this place !!!

Excellent food and staff were amazing and friendly. Love the location. I was celebrating my birthday and we were given a free drink. We will definitely go back and recommend it to family and friends

They didn't let me in to the washroom, despite me being a homeowner at Friday Harbour. Awful service.

We had an outstanding dining experience during our recent anniversary celebration at Fishbone. From the moment we walked in, everything was absolutely perfect. To start the night, we were pleasantly surprised with sparkling wine offered to us as part of our celebration. It was such a lovely touch that set the tone for the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the mussels as our appetizer; they were, without a doubt, some of the best we've ever tasted! The flavors and presentation were simply unparalleled. As for my main dish, the halibut was beyond exceptional—honestly, it was the best fish dish I've ever had in a restaurant. Kudos to your culinary team for their remarkable skill and creativity. The staff should be commend for their outstanding service throughout the evening. They were attentive, friendly, and truly enhanced our experience. While I did notice the absence of local Niagara wines on your menu, this did not detract from the overall perfect evening. In fact, we left with our hearts full and plans to make your restaurant our go-to spot whenever we visit Friday Harbour.

The food was excellent! We ordered the mussels and octopus for appetizers and we shared the Paella which is large and perfect for 2 people. The octopus was our standout favorite though the portion was a bit small for the price but very delicious nonetheless. We ended the evening with cappuccinos and the creme brulee which was very rich and delectable. The service was excellent. We asked our server for recommendations and she was right on point with her choices. The ambiance was lovely, beautifully decorated and perfect for a date night out. We've already recommended Fishbone to our friends for their date nights out.

We had the very best experience at this location Food was fantastic from apps all the way to desert. A bottle of wine ( red) was suggested to us to go with our lunch .. it was off the menu and DELICIOUS I haven't stopped thinking about this experience We'll be back. !!
