I placed an order with Gino’s Pizza in Innisfil through Uber Eats, taking advantage of their two-for-one pizza deal and also ordering a panzerotti.
Shortly after, I received a call from the restaurant asking me to call them directly - weird.
When I did, they tried to charge me extra for the second identical pizza on the 2 for 1 deal… that’s 2 for 2, no deal!
This practice is deceptive and false advertising, and likely against Uber Eats’ terms of service — posting one price online and then demanding more money over the phone is unacceptable.
I had already paid for the toppings and expected them to be on my pizza. The fact that they called me over $6 worth of toppings on an $80 order is bizarre.
When I expressed my concerns, they responded by saying they would cancel my order if I didn’t pay the extra $6. Losing an $80 sale over a few dollars in toppings is not just bad business, it’s also morally questionable.
I didn’t pay, don’t deal with extortionists - SO THEY CANCELLED THE ORDER?!?
Extremely disappointed in their service and will not be ordering from Gino’s Pizza again - super rude.
Avoid this place, wasted my and the driver’s time.

Tonight i was doing apple day which is a scout thing and the owner was nice. Towards the end he asked if i wanted a pizza, i polightly said no as i wasent hungry, but it was a nice gesture, he gave me a gatorade which was nice of him.
