Nonna's Cucina is an amazing and local spot for veal parm, chicken parm and pasta! They do it all with passion and love. The portions are massive and the sauce is tasty. Fresh bread and excellent toppings round off the best veal sandwich in Barrie.

I ordered catering for the first time from Nonna’s Cucina (Crystal) she cooked the best quality of Italian dishes, pasta, vegetables, chicken and veal. My guest’s were so impressed ( asked if I cooked it! I am also Italian ) I said no, alI catered it in! ( Crystal also had gluten free options! In which I had a few guests with intolerance to gluten) Thanks so much Crystal you are amazing and have the patience and love of food!! I will be using you from now on for all catering events!! and have referred to others that will be using your services.

The food was beyond delicious — fresh, flavourful, and made with such care. My husband is usually sensitive to sauces and often gets heartburn if they’re too heavy or not made right. But not this time! He devoured his entire meal and even used the leftover bread to soak up every last drop of sauce. Not a single bite was left behind — and that says everything.

As a LONG time connoisseur of California Sandwiches I’ve tried many Italian sandwich joints in search of comparable fare.
And today, I think I found it!
Tried the veal sandwich from Nonna’s Cucina and it was spectacular!
Lightly battered veal with some crispiness along with the right amount of sauce and a big slice of cheese made this a great sandwich.
I ordered the sandwich via their cell number and was greeted at the door by Nonna herself with my meal.
Very pleasant experience altogether.
Give it a try - you won’t be disappointed.

OMG Why did I wait so long I asked myself? Crystal's veal sandwich is to die for - absolutely delicious! I have enough left for another meal. The veal is perfectly done and the sauce is right on the money. Add the fresh beautiful bun and it's a home run!
