I've never witnessed the most stupidest service. To get a glass water for my elderly father to take medicine, I was put in a queue for other orders of coffee and specialty coffee to be served first. Didn't realize that Starbucks training fails to serve the basic needs first. Starbucks doesn't fail to disappoint that's for sure. I'd give this place a 0..

Its a Starbucks. People were nice, food is good. And consistent. Looks the same as all the other ones just with a different view. Am I the only one that doesn't like that youre prompted to add a tip right away? Shouldnt that be my choice? And starting at 20% at that! In my day, a tip was given because of exceptional service. I hate that im being pressured to tip because someone did their job. And if someone by chance did go that extra mile to actually earn a tip, I would give them cash. Never had a problem doing that. Tossing my sandwich and sliding it across the counter is not one of those things. My double smoked bacon sandwich was great after I put it back together. Way to make your customers feel uncomfortable Starbucks corporation.

This is NOT a corporate store so points cannot be used for drinks. There is also a resort fee on all food and drinks. ALSO …. Auto programmed 20% or 25% in GRATUITIES. Like…. Seriously? You can skip grats in a single press or if you prefer to modify to lower %, several steps are required.
This GRATUITY culture is ridiculous.

When to Friday Harbour with the family and decided to get a refreshing drink on a hot day. When I presented my Starbucks Rewards card to scan for points, I was informed that they don’t accept that. I accepted what they said, but when we sat down I was a but taken back by a sticker that was on each table advertising ‘Your Summer Rewarded’, encouraging people to ‘Join Starbucks Rewards…..’ (shake my head). How can this place advertise something that they do not accept?? ? (Got a pic of the table but cannot seem to add it here. I was able to post it on the Starbucks Google photo section.)
Absolutely not worth paying more for an already expensive item from Starbucks. Grab from one in town before you head out to Friday harbor (if you have any desire to even come out here) and save yourself 10%

What’s with the luxury tax at this place? Where do they get off? $8 dollars is too much for any coffee, especially a Starbucks one. It’s at least $2 more than any other Starbucks.

Overpriced because of the resort tax and the service was so bad. I came here to do school work and there are only 2 outlets and no big tables for multiple people to sit at. Nice if you just want to sit in there to drink coffee but not for doing work. The girls working were so rude when we were ordering too so that didn’t help my bad experience. Not coming back to this location, would much rather the Starbucks in alcona as they are so much nicer and genuinely care.
