I wish I had a better review for this place. But since their speciality are those very loved 1/4 chicken dinners all Canadians love, I have to say, this is a far cry to what Swiss Chalet used to be long time ago. Chicken was dry and overcooked, onion rings were soaked on oil and even the bun wasn't that good. Sorry, I wish I enjoyed it more since I hope to see this place stay in business for years to come.

Worst Swiss chalet experience! My friends and I ordered 2 1/4 chicken dinners and one chicken wrap. The 1/4 chicken was over cooked and dried out there was more dry skin than meat and the size was more like 1/16. ON TOP of that we got Harvey fries and not Swiss ones :( my friend’s wrap had no sauce she was very sad. I never write complaints but this was very disappointing especially when we can’t afford to eat out often :(
I love going to this location the staff is always so friendly to make you feel very comfortable to just be yourself you can go alone sit and eat, or go with somebody. Either or it's a good place to go! My son loves coming here as well and their food is always fresh, this one is always my top favorite!!!

I have been eating at Swiss Chalet for at least 40 years. It used to be a fresh taste plump rotisserie chicken. Now it resembles a dried out pigeon! My wife and I ordered 1/4 chicken dark meat. This was at 5:30 pm on a Sunday. Just be clear. We ended up with a partial chicken leg and thigh completely dried out! Or backed potatoes were so over cooked that the skin on the potato had to be cut with a steak knife!! By the way we ordered fries not potatoes 🙃. Never again! $35.00 waisted!

Undeniable the worst experience I have had at a reasturant was here.. After ordering 2 quarter chickens and having one dark meat and which seemed to be h size of a chicken wing the leg was tiny I asked if this is right? And was told "Yeah, if you don't like it you should have ordered more food".. I will never again order any food from this place..

We have ordered from this location numerous times for take out and each and every time there has ALWAYS been something wrong or missing with the order which has become quite frustrating. We call right away every time and they are quick to rectify the situation which is appreciated but we will have to start going to Barrie now because it has become increasingly inconvenient with the amount of mistakes that are made.
