We were passing through Cookstown and wanted to eat something before a wedding. Came across Toast Homestyle and thought it looked unique - we love supporting local, non chain in small towns. We were blown away by the quality of the food and the reasonable price. We’ll be back for sure! Great service to by a very busy server!

This hidden little gem is right downtown.. The atmosphere is small homestyle.. the food is fresh,tasty and plentiful.. very large breakfast and lunch menu.. lots of choices.. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The prices are modest... No Disappointment here... Good Stuff 👍

This is a nice little place. The food was good and was reasonably priced. The only reason I gave them 4 stars on food was because they use frozen potatoe cubes for home fries I am not a big fan of potato cubes as home fries. If they actually made there own home fries I would have given them 5 out of 5. When we went there was only about 6 at most other people we only got 1 refill on our coffee. I would definitely be back and try something different off the menu and see how that goes.

had a cute and homey feeling. i think our server/cook was the owner and he was so sweet and nice. food came out super quick and the quality was really good. the meat (bacon, ham and sausage) was extremely good. i would definitely go back there again and the pricing was completely fair for the quality and portion size

Always wanted to stop in never had the chance until this morning we were going away for a long weekend and it's been our tradition to stop and get breakfast sign on the door said short of stuff might be await it was worth the wait if there was a line the food was amazing fresh made to order the toast was amazing had the Canadian omelette wife had bacon scrambled eggs perfect I cannot write a better review for a Small Town Diner thank you to the owner again it was a great breakfast
