We were a party of 9.
We each got a single scoop of the Gelato. Each one ordered a different flavor. Maybe it was because we came on December 22nd and popularity for Gelato is generally low, but the quality of the Gelato was subpar. It was disgusting. We didn't say anything, but if you house spoiled/sour/freeze burned product, maybe you should discard of it. Very disappointed, we had family from Florida and it was embarrassing. The kids didn't finish their treats at all. The adults just dumbed them.
Very disappointed

I was highly dissatisfied with my visit. The patio wasn’t great and I witnessed a worker named Mo talking down to the girls on the patio. Poor girl, it hurt my heart to see her mistreated like that

BEWARE OF RESORT TAX 3%
I went here yesterday July 22nd 2024.
Beer was cold and apparently good and average price, sparkling water in can acceptable price. $15 for a bacon sandwich with two thin slices of bacon not a reasonable offering. But what pissed me off most was a resort fee of 3% when I asked server about it she said she didn't really know why. Clearly Zaza has intentionally added this to their bills. SO BEWARE THEY ARE CHARGING YOU A SELF IMPOSED TAX.

The ambiance is fabulous. The scenery is lovely.
The sirloin sandwiches we had were tasteless. We asked for ketchup and salt upfront, fearing the worst.
One thing that disturbed us was the waitress touching, feeding, and rubbing a dog brought in by someone who had the air of the owner. Without washing her hands, she continued to serve food and drinks.
They also don't have tap water, so you'll be paying $3.30 for a small bottle of still water. Lastly, they have a resort fee.

The taste is decent, nothing bad or surprising, but they put quite a lot of ice cream in the cup. There were about 10 different flavors to choose from like stracciatella, banana, dark chocolate and more.
We tried mango, vanilla, caramel and tiramisu, of which we can recommend the mango one.

The patio food is a robbery you can get better chicken sandwiches at Tim Hortons. For 60 dollars and two sandwiches they don’t have their own bathroom that customers can use. Gelato is good.
