Such good options especially for people with dairy allergies. they lady working was nice. just a little expensive for gelato

My husband and I were just at Friday Habour and had the most amazing lunch at Cantina Restaurant. We sat on the patio, the setting was relaxed, with a beautiful view, perfect place to enjoy a meal on a summer day. I ordered the steak sandwich and my husband had the pizza, absolutely delicious.
If you're visiting Friday Harbour, Cantina is a must visit!!!

We had such a great experience at Zaza’s Cantina at Friday Harbour! The pizza was absolutely incredible—perfectly cooked and packed with flavour. On top of the amazing food, the service was so warm and welcoming. A huge shoutout to Sandra, who was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home the moment we walked in. We’ll definitely be back.

Food was bland, portions are tiny, over priced. Nothing special about the ingredients used, your honestly better off and would get better Italian food from a supermarket ready to go section. The sandwich had 2x super thin slices of lunch meat, the bun tasted cheap.
The staff does what they can but there heart isn't in it and it shows.
Overall for the price and location, I'd expect quality ingredients, flavors, and service.

Cantina is my go to on the strip, it never disappoints, food is always consistently good & the staff are warm & welcoming! No other patio compares there!

My experience at Cantina and Zaza is always incredible. I love coming here because the food is consistently delicious, the service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. A special shoutout to Cantina’s manager, Sandra, who always goes above and beyond to make every visit memorable. Their summer menu is absolutely delicious, and of course, their famous pala’s never disappoint! If you’re looking for the perfect place to dine this summer, Cantina at Friday Harbour is definitely a must-visit.

They also do fun event nights, such as Pilates by the lake and paint nights, so look out for those dates!

Ordered a pizza and a hamburger. The hamburger was inedible. The patty didn't taste like real meat, had an odd texture that seemed like fake meat, and it wasn't even fully cooked. I couldn't eat more than a couple of bites.

The Pinot Grigio was just as disappointing. It looked watered down and tasted stale, as if the bottle had been open for far too long.

Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. Poor food quality and disappointing drinks—I won't be returning.

Don’t bother with this place. Food is straight from a cafeteria. Nothing gourmet or Italian about this place. Pizza is basically dough and just loaded with canned tomato sauce. Food that they serve on are unsanitary. Server was incompetent. The only thing that is saving them is the location. So disappointing.

Went in to get a gelato. Was completely ignored by the staff member who cared more about the people who walked in after me…. Ridiculous that I had to get her attention as she was starring right past me because she was too busy looking at the person behind me as if I was invisible! After getting her attention and with the attitude I decided to Walk out didn’t ever bother getting an ice cream, wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Go to the one who has a kawartha couple doors down!
