my wife and I received a certificate for a wedding present.
My wife has tried for 8 months to book .
the manager Daniel has pushed it off numerous times.
she claims to call back in 8 months hasn't.
I called a week ago they said that they didn't offer the service and would refund the 200.
I gave them my credit card information and they said they will call me that day with confirmation. no call...

It should have been bulldozed to preserve its honour. What a shame to see this once lovely gathering place gone to rot.
We arrived at this hotel July 28 2025. The hotel is filthy. Our room had bugs spiders and the carpet was stained and dirty. The outdoor pool shown in photos has been closed for three years.The indoor pool was green and had crime tape around it. We had a reservation for eight for lunch. I canceled it due to the disgusting condition of the hotel. We left as soon as we could get out of there. Stay away from this place

Drinkwaters Lounge Restaurant & Bar offers delicious food, including tender Fish and Chips, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and a signature salad. The friendly servers provide top-class service. However, the restaurant has seen better days, with reports of long waits, missing silverware, and a need for maintenance and TLC. The historic building and dining areas still retain their charm, but the overall atmosphere has declined. Despite this, the restaurant remains a great spot for dinner, especially for those who appreciate its historic character.
