The service was all service should be, EXCELLENT!
The food was great.
The only little bit of advice I can offer is the lights were extremely bright and it was a little chilly ( we sat in a booth by a large window which might have been the reason. It was very cold and snow on that evening (January 23)
All in all, I highly recommend going to this wonderful restaurant.

I took my girlfriend for dinner tonight, first off, our server was so nice, very authentic which was relieving as most servers are robotic. Our dinner was bang on. We both had steak and lobster and it was the best steak we have ever had and we are OLD. Our servers name was Macy? My girlfriend loved her and she hates everyone. We will be back!!!!! Please give this place a visit, you wont be disappointed

We dined in tonight for dinner. Our server was very kind and fast. She did make a comment about us not “touching our side sauce” which was weird but other than that, she was good. The restaurant itself on the other hand….very outdated. The outside of the restaurant was well maintained and pretty but as soon as you stepped inside it was dark and dated. Don’t even get me started on the basement area where the bathrooms are found (very creepy and super dark to say the least). The place doesn’t give you a fine dining experience at all and for the prices you pay…it just doesn’t add up. We did find a hair in my husband’s pasta that was rectified right away with a fresh plate and a complimentary dessert (not necessary, but appreciated). Steak was okay. Seasonal veggies were well seasoned but the mashed potatoes lacked flavour and tasted old. Will be giving it another go if we are in the area but overall, not a great first impression.

I stopped by Jackson’s Bistro for their early bird special and was really impressed! The meal was absolutely delicious — great flavor and just the right portion size. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Definitely a great value for the quality. I’ll be coming back soon!

This restaurant is such a pleasant surprise! The portions here are huge - you definitely get your money’s worth. The prices are also very reasonable, especially for the drinks, which is rare these days. Even the lemons they give for free come in big slices - a small detail, but it really shows their generosity.
Every dish we tried was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. I ordered the NY steak and half rack of ribs combo, and for full rack of ribs, it looked like a full rack compared to what you’d get at most Toronto restaurants. Same for the steak which is really huge. Both were tender, juicy, and so satisfying - truly fulfilling. The fries were outstanding - crispy, crunchy, and without any greasy oiliness. My fiancee ordered the Jackson’s seafood pasta and it is also huge portion and is really appetizing.
We arrived just on time for our reservation, and the server was already outside waiting for us - so prepared and welcoming. We sat out on the patio, and our server was fantastic - constantly checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, which is rare for patio dining.
To end the meal, we had the pecan pie with ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious. The sweetness was perfectly balanced - rich and flavourful without being overly sweet.
If you’re looking for generous portions, fresh food, and excellent service, this place is a must-visit.
This was also the perfect place to celebrate our 4th anniversary, and it made the occasion even more special. We will definitely add this to our restaurants to go back to.
